That was so disappointing, I understand that today is Christmas so they were doing a cameo to sing Christmas songs with everyone else and only appear on stage for only a minute next to Snoop Dogg, but seriously, that’s it? The fact that Netflix advertised and posed memes and threw in Easter eggs on their NFL posts made me think we were getting a full performance or at least something good, I thought they were going to sing Golden or maybe even Takedown just the fact how the NFL posted a takedown edit a few days ago. But I was left disappointed. Which sucks because I was more excited for the halftime than the actual game (even though I follow football). But if Netflix didn’t push as they did on social media I’d be less mad but the people who advertised this need to do better next time Huntr/x performs anywhere else. False advertising making this a big deal when it was short.
Yeah they probably wanted a break from Golden but still, could’ve been advertised better and not making this “cameo” as big as it was.

It was just never their show so it wasn’t much time slot left it was always a Snoop Dogg show with a Special Lainey Wilson performance that was planned year ahead HUNTR/X was just added as an addition because Netflix wants to capitalize on it somehow
I know it was mainly Snoop Dogg but I blame Netflix and NFL making it a big deal
They were brought in last minute (promo started less than a week before Christmas), and brought in AS GUESTS!
Even the people that were announced before hand (Lainey Wilson for example) only had a minute or two as well.
If you were expecting a whole 3 minute song from them when 1) it wasn’t their show to begin with and 2) last minute advertising to save the views on the game, then idk what to tell you.
It wasn’t their show. It was last minute. And what we got is exactly what I was expecting (maybe a snippet of one of their songs, but a Christmas song makes more sense).
I was actually hoping for a collab with Snoop, but this was good, too.
I liked it, and they were excited.
Hoping they sneak into the Bad Bunny performance even if just a homage to the SNL performance. Probably won't happen, but I would love it.

They were billed by Netflix advertising as an appearance, not a performance (Lainey was billed as a performance). Whatever they did was always going to be the briefest of everyone on stage. I think people just got excited assuming it would be more. There’s obviously demand if they squeezed them in. Still a huge crowd for them considering how fast everything has moved!
No seriously super underwhelming. I guess I should have expected it since it’s Christmas but with all the advertising I thought it was a serious full performance. Not a little segment in between Snoop Dog. 😢
Don’t get me wrong him and the girls were great but kindddddofff a let down.

We are the hardcore fans so of course we hoped for more; like a football team who felt like they could’ve played better. Luckily New Year’s Eve isn’t too far away 😂

Very happy to see our girls in my home state at my team’s stadium, even if I wasn’t there and just watching from home (still in MN). Sad that it was so short and not a full solo performance from them before or after Snoop. They do look lovely in white, though!

I was hoping that we’ll get golden the Snoop Dogg remix but looks like that will stay a dream
But 2., I actually liked this more! Don't get me wrong, I'd kill for more live Huntr/x performances, but to me this kinda legitimized them to me as a real band, or at least something close to it. Huntr/x is no longer limited to the songs from the movie, and for all we know we could even get more music from them separate from any televised media. Like a real band. And what's better than Huntr/x performing live? Huntr/x becoming an actual, real world trio with songs outside of just the movie. Made my fangirl heart skip a beat at the thought!

I don't mind the short appearance as much as I do that it was a short appearance in an absolutely meaningless, boring show. I don't expect depth in a half-time show, but this was so far below my very low expectations that I was actually surprised that it was so lacking in memorable content.
I actually though the “12 Days of Christmas” arrangement was pretty memorable even if it was short. And EJAE’s voice fit it really well. Almost sounded like Destiny’s Child lol
