Based on the theme of the movie, Lego‘s probably gonna make the like FRIENDS cause they think they know their audience.
(I‘ll still buy it cause I want that shit.)
I remember when they first brought FRIENDS out and I kinda vibed with the minidoll design for it cuz it just made sense. It would make a lot more sense for KPDH but the main tradeoff is that it sacrifices the LEGO brick aesthetic that some people absolutely love. Admittedly this is why I've never been a huge fan of the Technic line for cars. I'll take LEGO Creator's old style

It'll be like the Wednesday and others where it is the little doll-like figures as opposed to mini-figs. This is their line targetted more towards a younger female audience. I think those actually work much better than minifigs for this kind of character.
My only problem with them is it means the scale (such as it is) is wrong between the "girl" sets and "boy" sets. What if a fire starts at the bakery? The fire department's truck is too small!

Over the past years Lego products have become bottom tier in terms of both quality and pricing, the competition is WAY ahead of them. The only reason they still make money is because of the name and people not knowing better. "Its lego so it must be good!!". Except it isnt anymore. Happy KDH gets more attention but very sad it has to be lego, product will likely not be good

I personally would love love love a Lego video game adaptation of the film. Those Lego games can be absolutely hilarious. Imagine Jinu sacrificing himself and exploding into bricks, dropping coins, and Rumi collecting said coins
If Fortnite showed us that HUNTRIX can work regular minifigs. Then they should use the version of the figures from Fortnite instead of just doing the mini dolls
Fully agree, a lot of people dont seem to know how terrible Lego has been in the recent years, especially in terms of pricing/quality. I really wished it wasnt lego because now its basically doomed to be a shitty product

To give you one example, the deathstar (75419) for 1000€ came with almost no prints (mostly stickers), lacking accesoire from the movie, missing covers on the backside, 80% copy-paste minifigures that had no prints either. And i havent even mentioned yet that its not even the full deathstar but only a 2D disc. For 1000€ !!! If you simply open your eyes and compare their products with companies like Pantasy, Mould King, Cada, Cobi etc., you wont be able to unsee the difference anymore
Wow, so K-pop demon hunters is this year‘s Wicked with so many collaborations coming out, but it does make sense because it does revolve around a main female character who’s insecure of her skin condition and feels like an outcast because of it.
These sets are gonna sell like hotcakes. The demand for any Kpop Demon Hunters merchandise is through the roof right now and Netflix totally squandered it.
They kinda late to the party. Built Huntrix tower out of an Avengers Tower with my daughter. Would buy the jet if they make it and official minifigs would be nice though.

Perhaps they’ll do both Minidolls and Minifigs for different sets, like they’ve done with Wicked? The Minifigs look excellent in Fortnite
