I think most people, even casual gamers, are now aware of the sinister forces that are actively ruining gaming by subverting lore, race/gender-swapping beloved characters, and uglifying female characters to appease the jealousy of ugly female developers and journalists.
10 years ago, I, like many others, still gave them the benefit of doubt. A race swap here, a gender swap there, shrug, it seemed pretty mild. Uglier versions of female characters were because of new art directions, or chasing realism, or just a dip in talent, right? But it started to become so pervasive and tiring, it was clear there was a pattern, a concerted effort to destroy anything that appealed to men.
There will still be a couple more years of releases of stuff that was greenlit during the woke years, things like the Naughty Dog tripe, which is definitely going to bomb. Eventually studios are going to have to return to making money. The hard core gaming industry IS primarily male, so that means more grizzled males (that women can also enjoy) and sexy females (which women can cosplay as).
The success of games like Space Marine 2 and Stellar Blade is only a surprise to the activists in the industry and their teeny tiny audience. It's not in any way a surprise to the actual community of gamers.
The only actual push anyone can do is completely refusing to buy bad, and only buying good after it has been confirmed to be good. Which means, buying very little if anything each calendar year. Eventually when industries see massive loses they will fire the people beneath them that ruined their yacht funds. But it is only when they come close to closure will the ever think to clean house. And this house is something that needs to be cleaned before it can ever be good again.

If i recall correctly Nexus initially outright banned that mod, while did nothing to mods that allowed femV and Panam romance.
Someone reuploaded male V and Judy romance mod in October last year and suprisingly Nexus didnt take action against it this time.
I remember there was a major controversy surrounding a mod that made Judy available to a male V.
It was argued that this amounted to a form of abuse of the character. The mod was eventually banned from Nexus, while other mods, such as those that make Panam available to a female V or turn River into a gay romance, were allowed to remain.
In the end, CD Projekt’s decision is confusing, because the game relies heavily on the character’s body type: a male V can have a vagina, just as a female V can have a penis, and NPCs do not acknowledge this at all.
What ultimately determines interactions is the voice, which makes the system inconsistent and contradictory to the freedom the game claims to offer.
Emulate and download ROMs of older games without the DEI alphabet bs and enjoy. The "progressives" and people pushing "the message" won't get money if you play downloaded games on Steam Deck or a Homebrewed/hacked handheld and you get to enjoy games that were made to entertain.
