This was so much fun to experience live! Very excited to relive the experience again, albeit slightly less inebriated this time.

    THANK YOU**, DAN

    parent root
    1 points ScoobyMaroon

the THANK YOU DAN bit seems like something that was good in the room but doesn't work on the podcast end. It's been fine but if y'all in the audience went even ONE STEP HARDER on it it all could have all fallen apart.

Idk I was cackling about it in my car this morning, I loved it

    parent root

    I loved it

    It was great

    THANK YOU DAN!

Maaaan, I'm out here in Boise and wanted to make the trip so bad but had some side work pop up I couldn't turn down. Glad to hear it was a fun time though, definitely next time!

I'm just happy the hiss traveled across the continent and made it to Portland.

So it's true they lost the Thursday episode.

    parent
    8 points trekie_taylor

It was a good one. April 20th 2010

    parent root
    3 points TootTootUSA

Dang, I actually remember that day.

It was nice, warm and sunny out. I think it was like a Tuesday or Wednesday.

    parent root
    6 points oozekip

The globalists don't want you to know about the Magic Yellow Flyer™!

    God bless those dumbass ads

In this installment, Dan and Jordan come to you live from the Aladdin Theater in Portland to present a music festival inspired episode of the podcast.

All I've ever wanted is Knowledge Fight in the form of a Rock Opera

    parent root
    10 points AceSuperhero

    What about a rock lobster?

    parent root
    12 points Librarian_Contrarian

I think I'd prefer someone to rock me, Amadeus.

    parent root
    5 points VCR_Samurai

Are there any party rockers in the house tonight?

    parent root
    5 points Mr_Abe_Froman

Tis the season to rock around the Christmas tree.

    parent root
    5 points Cooking_with_MREs

I know it's only rock n' roll but I like it.

    parent root
    5 points xiz111

For those who were about to rock, we saluted you.

    parent root
    2 points GertieDirtyShirtyCat

    Seconded.

In sleep he sang to me,

    In dreams he came,

That voice which calls to me,

    And speaks his name,

    And do I dream again?

    For now I find,

    Gene Hackman is once again,

    Inside my mind…

    parent root

The meter absolutely does not work at all but I appreciate the idea regardless

There is nothing on this green earth that could have prepared me for Mike Adams' music

    parent
    6 points iStoleTheHobo

Alex is such a shameless liar too! We've heard your bumper music, Alex, ain't no way in hell you like his music.

    parent root
    4 points throwawaykfhelp

Ok but what if it was Willie Nelson voice

I was a high plane man.

Along the coach cabin I fly,

With carry-on bag by my side.

Many attendants placed their sodas on my tray.

Security guards placed their hands all on my blade.

The bastards touched my junk in Spring of '25!

    DON'T TOUCH MY MAN JUNK!

For more on the American Third Position party, check Weird Little Guys (if you aren't already a listener), episodes from August 20, August 27, September 3, and September 10, 2025.

Big Dollop energy from the pre-Alex portion of this episode.

    parent
    14 points EaklebeeTheUncertain

Exactly what I was thinking. The first 27 minutes* of the episode were basically a Dollop Jordan's "fuck-park" bit in particular felt a lot like a Gareth bit.

*Probably about the length of a modern Dollop too, once you remove the ads.

We desperately need a u/Kudos2yousguys cartoon of this one. The beans part is fantastic

    parent
    4 points peachy175

Haven't listened yet, but I will ALWAYS want a new u/Kudos2yousguys video!

    parent root
    1 points theclosetenby

I kept thinking about that when I was in the audience lol. Jordan's reactions are captured so well by the cartoon version of him kicking his feet in the air while laughing

    parent root
  • 8 points fabrikt

Owen Shroyer did an interview with Enzo Amore? Enzo "CONSENSUAL PENIS" Amore?! Why are we not doing an episode on that right now?

    parent
    1 points TootTootUSA

On a related note, Dr. Drew is such a puddle of leaky shit. Fuck that guy.

    parent root
  • 5 points GertieDirtyShirtyCat

JorDan are more magical than beans! It was wonderful. Portland didn't make it easy for me, but four stars  :)... I'd absolutely go again!

    parent
  • 7 points Rascalbean

I thought no commercial could beat Diamond Gusset jeans. I was so wrong.

    parent
  • 5 points OutlandishnessDeep95

I had tickets for this but my fibromyalgia had other plans. I am so bummed about missing it. :-(

    parent
  • 5 points jonezsodaz

I scanned the title quick and read live in Poland I thought wow this gonna be spicy!

    parent
  • 3 points throwawaykfhelp

Hearing a commercial for Third Position was WILD holy fuckin shit. Alex really has been a Nazi the whole goddamn time.

    parent
  • 2 points senectus

is there pictures of what these guys look like out there?

    parent
    17 points UpperApe

    Yup, here you go!

Ha! Not how I envisioned them at all.

    Thanks

    parent root
    6 points enfanta

You didn't picture them like that? Then that must mean... you haven't watched kudos  animations!

    You're in for a treat!

    parent root
    2 points senectus

    Hahahahaha that was amusing

    parent root
    4 points enfanta

I love Kudos' stuff. Really captures the spirit of the show.

    parent root
    1 points FineIJoinedReddit

lol yeah, even though I've seen pictures of them, I'm always reluctant to go to live shows for any podcast because I like to imagine what the hosts look like

    parent root
    1 points FineIJoinedReddit

What I didn't realize: Jordan moves a lot. He was up and down multiple times, moving around the stage, moving his chair. It was really interesting. When you can hear him off mic on the show, I always liked to picture him walking across the room. . . maybe there's some truth to that!

Nice! I was at the Toronto show last year, and it was great. JorDan seem to be moving up to bigger venues!

    parent root
    2 points ScoobyMaroon

Can't remember the first time I saw them. Maybe when they were on CNN.

Jordan really nailing the wheeze meme here.

    parent root
    1 points MangoMambo

Have you never googled them or the show? I'm pretty sure they have pics on the website

    parent root
    1 points senectus

    Nope. Just listened

Only 20 minutes in, but if Sha Na Na doesn’t headline Vortex 1, I quit. Also need an artsy person to make a Country People’s Bear Army Jamboree morale patch.
