Alex jones is a white supremacist and a lot of the people that like knowledge fight have a personal reason for listening, and whether it’s they have family who is into his schtick or they used to watch his stuff. But his show is aimed towards white people so it’s more likely they would enjoy a show debunking all of his shit. I can’t imagine there’s a whole lot of diversity in people who get into Alex jones so the people that got out or who are related to people who are into it will likely be white.

I learned this feeling traveling for business in India. On a domestic flight, maybe there is another person of recent European ancestry among the 200 passengers. And you fly everywhere because you haven’t seen traffic until you’ve been there.

On Thursday, my husband and I were noticing that it was an all-white crowd. We both thought it was weird. (we're white, but we were struck by how odd it was.)
I went to the show. Multiple times while I was in the theater, I would walk by someone and think "wow, this man looks like Dan." But it wasn't him. Had this same thought multiple times about Jordan too that night.
I don't think this was unique to Portland though. Keep in mind the gentlemen are from Chicago. I flew in from Denver for the show. I have seen so many men with the long beards in my own home town. I think it's more of a 2025 thing.
They can fill theaters, but somehow I still have a hard time selling my friends on "Two ex-stand-up comedians talk about Alex Jones". Glad there's such a great community online because my friends are not getting my jokes about Raptor weddings and Malaysian names.
My roommate would often get into episodes if he came home and I had one playing but absolutely no interest in putting it on for himself. Cant say I blame him though Alex’s show can be tough to stomach for sometimes for even the wonkiest wonk

Everyone else was insanely nice and considerate except this one person with main character syndrome lol.
I don’t know how I feel about realizing that a fellow human just shared everyone’s biometric data to the exact organizations as have been seeking more biometric data of those they consider to be a ”group or individual that aspires to become labeled Enemy of the State and blah blah blah…”

Growing up in the PNW, my graduating class from HS had 1 black person in it.
The military sent me to the South. It was a big culture shock.
Don't feel too bad. I grew up in the south and moving from the Houston suburbs into New Orleans was quite the culture shock at first.
My HS graduating also had maybe two black people in it if that tells you what kind of suburb it was.
