Hello everyone! As a reminder this is a satire subreddit for the dumb/silly things children do. The subreddit name is not literal. Although posts can have kids doing actual "stupid" things. It is not a requirement. Yes, blaming the parent is valid. However, this does not mean crossing the line into actually insulting the parent is ok (assuming they are the OP) (Rule #1).
This is also not a hate sub for children. If you don't like kids, that's fine. Just don't spread vitriol.
I wanna plan my funeral to force it to be a get together of remembrance over a depression convention.
Sure be sad, but at least reach be bittersweet about it. Ima be chillin in the urn, black is banned, and I will have an MP3 for someone to play with my voice and an appropriate but not depressing playlist.
There's a part of me that wants them to play the ending theme from Super Mario World at my funeral, and a recording of me saying "I've saved the princess, now it's time to put the controller down and get on with other things".
But there's a part of me that genuinely wants them to play Chopin's Marche Funebre. Not because I want people to weep, but because just listen to it. Once you get past the first couple of measures you'll hear it's a happy and victorious piece of music, full of positive feelings. Also I wouldn't want to risk ruining another piece of music for my family.
I want to play musics that will last in head like "It's a small small world" just to mess one last time with people....oh ! And I want a flower bouquet throw, to know which one will follow !
I am a funeral director and let me tell you how IMPORTANT the moments little kids interject are. Like they lighten the mood so much. I love this on a funeral. Some of my favorite funerals I’ve ran have had nothing but jokes and the family really heals from that.
My dad literally wants us to cup his hands and fill them with M&M so people can have someone when they walk by his casket. I'm going to fulfill that request
My son at the end of my grandpas funeral blurted out “FINALLY! It’s over!”. Genuinely funny and honestly a break from reality was nice. I know my grandpa would have been laughing too.
At my grandmother-in-law's funeral an 8 year old boy got smothered between 2 sets of boobs as his mom hugged my MIL. We saw his eyes go SO wide before disappearing. Lol I know for a fact grandma would have peed her pants seeing that, it was perfect
If this is in the United States then I wouldn't be surprised if they still "celebrated" Christmas for the little girl to keep her from feeling left out of getting presents during that time of year. My younger brother is Jewish but he celebrated Christmas with us every year (and Hanukkah so the little shit got double the presents) 😂
This one not a Christian Veiling, from the looks of it this is from SEA muslim country either Indonesia or Malaysia or Brunei ect. That also a muslim grave so yeah less chance they are non Muslim but at same time that what makes this funny for other people.
Kids are wonderfully tone-deaf sometimes. When I was in fifth grade I was doing a project where I had to interview someone in my family at least two generations up from me. The relative I picked had his single granddaughter along with her two-year old girl living with him. As we got through our interviews we eventually reached a point in his life where he had lost a child. He had been unable to get through the entire story and his wife had had to finish for him. The mood in the room was way, way down, and as a ten-year-old kid I don't think I had ever been in a room where the mood was that low. Suddenly this man's great-granddaughter zoomed into the room, buck naked and fresh out of the tub. She sat her wet little butt right down on my notes as her mom ran in behind her apologizing profusely. She turned the mood right around with her little stunt.
My 2 year old did something similar at my grandmother’s funeral when he saw everyone sitting together at a table and yelled, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY PIZZA PARTY!”
She's so cute. She broke the tension and made them smile during a tough time. ❤️ I remember when the priest at my Meme's funeral was singing so badly that everyone started laughing but they were trying so hard to hold it in that everyone looked like they were crying. It was the funniest thing and it's the thing we remember most about her funeral instead of the tears. I remember my brother and I trying not to laugh looking at the adults trying not to laugh and then an old lady tapped us on the back of the shoulders and we were mortified thinking that we were in trouble. We both turn around and she's laughing too 😂
I was at my SIL’s grandmother’s service and during a very quiet moment her niece (maybe 3 or 4 years old) stood up and said “what’s in the treasure chest!?” nice and loud for all to hear. It was actually hilarious.
SEAsian Muslims can be rather chill actually. Sure we have those uptight ones as with any other religions. But we're chill.
I'm Singaporean Muslim. I remember one Christmas day we went to an aunt's home. My mum knocked on her door and laughingly said out Merry Christmas whilst in her usual hijab.
And we've somehow made it a joke tradition of sorts. Since it's a public holiday for most festivals, we'd go visit and just say Happy Chinese New Year/Deepavali etc. I even do it to my in-laws.
This is a very cute and smart kid. Many people of all faiths celebrate Christmas in their own way as it is a Word wide celebration of getting together and no longer associated with christianity. Where in the bible is Santa Claus or Christmas tree?
I absolutely agree with you. A lot of people celebrate Christmas just as like a seasonal holiday of giftgiving and I don't see anything wrong with that. My younger brother is Jewish but he celebrated Christmas with us every year so that he wouldn't be left out. Depending on where these people live, maybe they let the little girls celebrate Christmas just to feel included

Nah, this is perfect. I only hope when I die someone is left to crack a joke. Funerals are a drag, man.
I want everyone to be as disrespectful and irreverent as possible when I die. It’s what I will have would have wanted.
And don't forget to take off work because a "close friend" died
You're all my friends, if it gets you the day off!
Hell yeah! You get it! I’m dead, take advantage in every way! What am I gonna do? Get offended?
I wanna plan my funeral to force it to be a get together of remembrance over a depression convention.

Same
Me too! I want people to laugh around my grave at the silly things I’ve done and my crazy ways. The wake should be a proper celebration of life!
It's not a funeral, but a cemetary visit, I think. Some muslim cultures have the tradition to visit dead parents, grandparents, etc. on holy days.
Happy Christmas!
Happy Chrisrmas to you, too!

My dad literally wants us to cup his hands and fill them with M&M so people can have someone when they walk by his casket. I'm going to fulfill that request
I hope you meant to say cup his hands because I was picturing something much different and was horrified for a second 😂
lol, thanks for the catch. I fixed it. But, he wants us to cup his hands together like a bowl for M&Ms to go into lol
Knock on the coffin!
When I die, I want someone to just yell "BOOOORIIING!"
That was exactly the right time & place. It made everyone’s day a smidge better.
Yeah, literally the right person, time and place. Everyone's going to remember that and get giggly about it in the future.
Someone at the gravesite years from now with just whisper "happy christmas!" and the rest of the group with shudder with suppressed laughs.
The cadence is perfect
Every person in that crowd needed that.
Laughing through the grief
My son at the end of my grandpas funeral blurted out “FINALLY! It’s over!”. Genuinely funny and honestly a break from reality was nice. I know my grandpa would have been laughing too.

I love how the whole family is so gracious about it. No shushes, no scolding, just throw your head back and laugh bc girly is killing it.🫶🏽
Kid sensed someone needed a tension breaker. Spot on.
Right place perfect timing.
Wrong religion tho lol
it makes it so much funnier
doesnt matter, both are brothers, 'abrahamic religions'

Wait, wait. 😅 Do you think that only white people practice Christianity?
I think it's all the women wearing head coverings. Is this a different tradition than the Muslim one?
Nope. They're muslims.
Christian veiling is a thing
Christian veiling does not typically look like this. Different religions have their own styles of head coverings.
Of course, but the implication is that anyone seeing a headcovering should assume Muslim or at the very least not Christian.
Sooooo have you never seen a nun??
These aren't nuns.
Does this look like the head covering of a nun?
more like head wrapping 😅 /j
Oh yeah... I forgot Christians are the ones who famously wear hijabs.

I put it under the wrong comment. There was one right below...
Then sorry for my harsh tone
No worries. I didn't delete. Was too lazy to refresh until it appeared
Every woman in the video is wearing a hijab🤦💀
Perfect!
It lands exactly how it should
And that squeaky toy voice…. has me laughing. Turn that good stuff up!
Her little voice made me smile
It’s was the perfect time.

A magical wet butt print!
Shockingly enough, there was no moisture on my papers at all when she got up
reminds me of the scene from Inside Out. So adorable, bless that little girl and the grandpa💓
My 2 year old did something similar at my grandmother’s funeral when he saw everyone sitting together at a table and yelled, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY PIZZA PARTY!”
Christmas Mubarak everyone 🎄
Just buy that child every goddamn toy and pony already. Aw my heart.
There are some kids you just absolutely want to spoil. She's so cute, I'd have trouble not turning her into a diva princess. 😂
🤣I want that when I wake up Christmas morning.
Poor baby probably associates large family gatherings with a happy Christmas
Bless this child
Best eulogy opening.
Perfect place and time to cause a smile
Why not? It brought people smiles

Don't confuse a seriety moment with a hard moment
The fisrt need a bit of seriousness and respect
The second is just heavy
But they laughed, on a more serious time it could be pretty rude.
Maybe she's hoping everyone will still have a Happy Christmas after the funeral and did this at the wrong place and time to cheer everyone up.
Gold star kiddo
Thats perfect timing actually
(Insert speed holding laugh)
Beautiful child.
I was at my SIL’s grandmother’s service and during a very quiet moment her niece (maybe 3 or 4 years old) stood up and said “what’s in the treasure chest!?” nice and loud for all to hear. It was actually hilarious.
Bless her soul!
I'm surprised Christmas is even a thing in Indonesia
Indonesia has a pretty sizable (~10%) Christian minority.
SEAsian Muslims can be rather chill actually. Sure we have those uptight ones as with any other religions. But we're chill.

In a lot of places people celebrate Eid, Christmas and festivals of other religions without actually belonging to them

This gets me every time!
The best time.
What a cute little stinker. 🥹
So damn cute.
Well better late then never

Also, wrong tradition
Nah this doesn’t count
Ah yes, nothing cuter than putting an 8 year old in a hijab to signal her that her body is sinful.
