Hello everyone! As a reminder this is a satire subreddit for the dumb/silly things children do. The subreddit name is not literal. Although posts can have kids doing actual "stupid" things. It is not a requirement. Yes, blaming the parent is valid. However, this does not mean crossing the line into actually insulting the parent is ok (assuming they are the OP) (Rule #1).
This is also not a hate sub for children. If you don't like kids, that's fine. Just don't spread vitriol.
I had a similar experience when I was in kindergarten. This little girl named Jenna latched onto me and she was my "girlfriend" for a solid week. At recess she would hold my hand and we would walk around the playground. It got really frustrating because I wanted to go play with my friends and run and climb the jungle gym but she would have none of it. After about a week she got bored and moved on. Funny I can still remember after all this time.
I'm late 30s but I remember having a crush on a girl named April when I was 5. I told my friend I liked her who in turn told her. She then called me a lover boy to mock me, which hurt my feelings. I still remember it being on that metal monkey bar dome thing when she did so.
I told my dad and my dad says.
"Nah don't worry about her, her family's white trash. You don't want that"
I spent the rest of the day trying to figure out what white trash was, as I am too white.
Me too! Her name was Madison in pre-k. We were together for a long time, relatively. All I remember is she had a lot of hair, and everyone knew we were locked in, so we got to go to the fair together. I bobbed her an apple and she helped me smash the junk car with mallets. We passed out in the hay bale 🥰
I have one of those as well!
I had latched on with a girl in kindergarten as well, had completely forgotten her until my first year of high school where I made friends and developed a crush with a girl, and we end up finding out through old school pictures she was that same girl.
She ended up being my first girlfriend and we only broke up because she moved to the US a year later and didnt know if she would be back.
She came back eventually but she was a completely different woman by then (went from chill goth girl to party and rave obsessed, total opposite) and I was with someone else already
I remember a lot of stuff from my childhood. I remember my first migraine headache at 2 years old. I remember wandering around our farm in agony looking for my mom. I remember kicking my grandpa in the shins when I was 3 because I was mad at him. I don't remember what for but I remember he kicked me back. Lol. I remember watching Ninja Turtles and Super Mario Bros before school in the mornings. I remember the first time a girl kissed me when I was 5 years old. I remember the first time I played hookie from school when I was about 6 years old and I remember the talking to my mom gave me when she found out I wasn't really sick. There's a lot I don't remember of my early 20s so I guess it balances out.
I remember when I was 3 or 4, my grandparents always yelling at me for opening my grandpas recliner and lying down under it. This was when there was the hole in the leg rest, between the foot rest and the chair, and I would also pop up between the chair and foot rest and use the foot rest as a table because it was a perfect height for me.
My grandma said they couldn’t sit down on the chair without checking to see if I was sleeping under it first 😂 caused them PTSD. My grandpa never stopped looking under his chair, even when I was grown. lol
I remember heaps of stuff. I remember reading somewhere that your brain remembers things tied to very strong emotions. One thing about me is I am extremely emotional and have intense responses. My earliest memory I have is very strong and I remember exactly what I was thinking and I told my mum like remember when this happened and she did but apparently I wasn’t even 2 when that occurred.
I still remember the toys i brought to class, the superman doll that i insisted to my friends aren't a doll, the time I wore jeans cus i shat me pants, the kitten we took in the kindergarten, the nightmare i had when I was 7, those times I played with the PSP while charging it and my dad got mad at me, the time in taekwando I successfully lifted this fatass kid at 8 or 9
Lmao i remember being in kindergarten and doing that to a boy. I was like 4yrs old and I asked boys around the playground if they wanted to be my husband when we’re older lol. One boy said no so I moved on to the next boy, he said yes, so I was like “ok you’re my future husband now”. I kept following him around the playground talking about our wedding plans until I just randomly got bored of that idea one day😭😭
I had a similar thing in first grade, the girl held my hand when walking to and from classrooms. And in the band room when a teacher brought a chameleon to class. I had no say in the matter🤣
She gave me my first kiss on the stairwell
I had a girl in preschool who wouldnt leave me alone. We ended up having an argument over her saying "pepperONI" (like that) anytime someone said "pepper". I "broke up" with her for that!
Funny thing is you probably do have some long dormant memories from early childhood. You just haven't come across the right triggers to make you remember. Just talking about this stuff is making me remember random stuff from when I was like 3-5.
Yep, the one I went to was on a horse farm and riding place. They had a donkey too, I’d pet her every day before playing on the igloo looking jungle gym
I had a girl like that in elementary school. Eventually she asked if I wanted a relationship with her out of the blue. So clueless 8 year old kid responded “a relationship?” to which she excitedly screamed “yes!”
She kept insisting we were in a relationship for over a month with me protesting every time I overheard her mention it to someone.
Eventually our mothers heard about it and arranged a playdate because they found it so cute.
So I guess I was, reluctantly and lowkey forced, in a relationship with her due to my own stupidity.
This girl always wanted us to do everything together, she was always by my side.
But unfortunately we’re no longer friends cuz at some point back then, we had to relocate and I had to change school
I got married in pre school. We wound up in the same high school and sophomore year we got divorced. It's still my longest relationship. Also she's a gay woman who does roller derby now. You rock Natalie.
Redditors after traveling back in time through an r/askreddit post asking 'you are 2 years old again with your current knowledge, what will you do different '
I was all the time, just like Lil bro, BUT the final scene changed everything. the girl was defending the guy from the abusive treatment he was receiving from other kids. so cute! 😃
He stays with her because she stands up for him.... It's that simple.... Kids don't care about love and relationships like adults at all.... They are close and a few clips of him staring off don't prove he don't want her just where she is
I think about this one movie all the time - kids are bring taught about angler fish, so this little girl bites the boy she fancies. They grow up to become a couple. There's some other.. minor details, but its a great movie and I can never remember the name.

He appears to be the only black child in the whole class. I'm sure she's being loving and protective and is probably kinda fascinated with him. And he looks like he's feeling kinda...well, objectified yet also happy to have somebody.
Weird ass fuckin adults in here judging a sweet baby girl. Shame on you all. She’s just a little lover girl with her bestie, stop sexualizing and adultifying them.
This is sooo cute! Lololol. Reminds me of my pre-k hubby. He moved away and I was devastated. Then I met him again in elementary school and he didn't even remember me. At least at that point I didn't give a shit but for whatever reason it still confused me that I remembered and he didn't. Until I met someone in highschool that remembered me from around that same time. I barely remembered him, I just remember he used to come to school in a sweater vest. Then I was like, oh...kids attention spans suck.
I teach a little older then this age and when I see this behavior I usually begin separating those kids. It looks cute but that child is possessive of her friend and treating the boy more as a toy than a peer. Its more possessive and territorial than loving. Sometimes kids really do just click and play great together but when one is guarding and being touchy I separate.
Ha, sure enough! I saw the writing on the wall and chair behind and thought Korean, but it’s very childlike characters. Then took the mute off to hear the mandarin and English.
Teacher definitely did not do that... She probably just likes him lmao. He's a cute little boy. 4 year old kids are not racist. Man, people think black people are always victims it's so odd.
Kids don’t develop ideas like that out of nowhere. At that age, most of what they say is learned by observing and repeating what they hear from parents or other adults around them. Children mimic behavior, they don’t form social prejudices on their own.
To be honest with you I don't really care where it came from. I'm not sure why the children behaved in that way, it's more the effect afterwards on my child and the feeling of difference that came about from it. Alas, it is one of those experiences that most minorities will have, I was just surprised it had to be such an early lesson.
I'm sure there are some correctable behaviors. I only had one black kid in my elementary school class and erveryone loved him. He wasn't a victim and didn't need a girl to stand up for him at 4 years old. I'm sure teachers had to do some correction. He was himself and he wasn't a "poor boy" like is stated in the thread start. He was fine. It's a cute little boy. The girl has a crush on him. He's fine.
As a kid who was at one point him, the lone black child in a room of white faces, I'm really hoping none of them are conjuring my name to claim that racism is no problem.
Yeah maybe. So naturally the teacher picked the child out for a mentorship program, probably. It's not a big deal, I just thought the imagination was a bit out there.
Eh, nah what's more likely is the little girl's parents are probably rather openly affectionate, so little girl thinks the constant hand holding and attention is normal with someone you like
You think openly affectionate Chinese parents is more likely than a teacher going 'help the kid who doesn't speak a word of Chinese participate for me'
Teachers do do that. I had black friends who had their K and Pre-K teachers do that for the solo of color or foreign kid in a new class. Anything else you need to be educated on?
This isn't cute, it's not good. As a parent of both sons and daughters...this would be stopped immediately. It's not good for that poor little boy at all, and it's also not good for the little girl to think she just dictate someone's actions at that age...though I assume she's learned it somewhere.

but she ride-or-die tho
Whether he wants or not.
We have stepped into a war with the cabal on mars.
So let's get to taking out their command, one by one.
I mean it can be Destiny…
The or die ain't her
The childhood friend never wins.
She throws hands at the end!!!
Edit: Either to protect him or to prevent him from being rescued. Either way I admire her resolve.
Either way 😂
Except she's doing the driving and killing.
that's so damn cute. and her fighting off all the other people, and him not even realizing ICANT
Happy cakeday!
On a big wheel?! 😂

How do you guys remember stuff all the way back from kindergarten?!
My earliest memory I have is very strong and I remember exactly what I was thinking and I told my mum like remember when this happened and she did but apparently I wasn’t even 2 when that occurred.
Same! Now, I've stopped letting myself get emotional when I stub my toe or something and it has caused me to not remember how I got bruises lol
I still remember the toys i brought to class, the superman doll that i insisted to my friends aren't a doll, the time I wore jeans cus i shat me pants, the kitten we took in the kindergarten, the nightmare i had when I was 7, those times I played with the PSP while charging it and my dad got mad at me, the time in taekwando I successfully lifted this fatass kid at 8 or 9
And more really
How do you not remember that oval braided rug we could all fit on???
Or the letter people? Mr M munchy mouth. Mr T talk teeth
Or the what are you wearing song? If you are wearing a dress, stand up..
Mrs. Joseph, I remember it all and you were great and I was lucky to have you!!!!
I'm 47 and remember something when I was 6
Some of us had memorable childhoods. Other people less so.
I had a memorable childhood. It’s just that other people remember it better than I do. 🫠
Dude, I had a girlfriend like that. Except she just moved on after a week and didn't tell me.
Lmao i remember being in kindergarten and doing that to a boy. I was like 4yrs old and I asked boys around the playground if they wanted to be my husband when we’re older lol. My first kiss was also when I was 5. A cute little blonde girl named Brianne. Sadly I didn't kiss another girl until after I graduated high school.
How many weeks has it been?
Ok, when it gets to the last scene and she starts actively defending him against the other kids, it gets really cute
"no! Hes MINE! You cant touch him!"
Lol, I once had a female friend who was just as protective as she is
lmao same in preschool there was a girl exactly like this who kept trying to marry me,
i was so weirded out lol
I had a girl in preschool who wouldnt leave me alone. We ended up having an argument over her saying "pepperONI" (like that) anytime someone said "pepper". I "broke up" with her for that!
Y'all actually remember preschool?
Yeah I remember a few things from way back then. It just means you didn't lock in any core memories from that age.
Interesting. I thought I had bad memory haha
Funny thing is you probably do have some long dormant memories from early childhood. You just haven't come across the right triggers to make you remember. Just talking about this stuff is making me remember random stuff from when I was like 3-5.
A couple cringe events, yes.
Yep, the one I went to was on a horse farm and riding place. They had a donkey too, I’d pet her every day before playing on the igloo looking jungle gym

"brother on my arm"
I see it as the other kids trying to get her to leave him alone and she refuses
Agreed. Baby girl is a menace.
She was claiming him and being territorial, not defending!
She protecc him 🫶🏻
Defending? More like isolating him. All mine energy!
You may think it looks like a hen caring for her chicken, but what it really is, is that she's a possessive panther.
I didn't see cute at all, I saw possessive and bossy. Don't flame me, I'm a girl. She needs to learn boundaries.
She’s like four. Have you ever met four year olds?
the other kids were actively mocking the guy, can't you see?
Boy accepted his role as a doll
Still remembers his previous life
Lmao
Redditors after traveling back in time through an r/askreddit post asking 'you are 2 years old again with your current knowledge, what will you do different '
Give me like 10 minutes to memorize some shit and send me back, gonna win any loto I can and be prepared for some huge stock changes
She to him: “remember our marriage in 1917 when I wouldn’t take enough with the ‘till death do us part’ part of the vows?
So here I am, in the next life to keep true to my words that I will always love you, even beyond death. You will never be without me again.”
He tried the "marrying the first one that likes me" in the previous one and that wasn't a winner
I was all the time, just like Lil bro, BUT the final scene changed everything. the girl was defending the guy from the abusive treatment he was receiving from other kids. so cute! 😃
The look on his face looks like he's been married his whole life.
That 10,000 yard stare. He's been through it
He been stuck in middle management. She wants a bigger house.
He's got 2 kids and a mortgage
He's counting the days till it's time to go get those smokes.
and a migraine
That jumping like a kid at the end doesn't really suit him
As soon as she let go his life force returned to normal
Valid imo.
His whole life hasn't been that long tho
He looks like he's been married for all of your life
Let me hold your hand with my sweaty hand. Ain’t that better?
Why is this kid stupid? This is adorable
Not really. He looks like he'd rather be anywhere else, while she's clearly obsessed. It would be adorable if they both looked happy. He does not.
Did you watch the ending!?
He stays with her because she stands up for him.... It's that simple.... Kids don't care about love and relationships like adults at all.... They are close and a few clips of him staring off don't prove he don't want her just where she is
Bro needs a little breathing room.
Dont we all
I'd like a little less breathing room please.
Not stupid though
I was like this little girl and I just want to apologize to all the boys I chased and harassed 😭😭
Go ahead and get her a ring, kid. She seems stable and consistent.
I would love it if these two grew up to be a couple
that would be absolutely adorable
Or at least life-long friends.
I think about this one movie all the time - kids are bring taught about angler fish, so this little girl bites the boy she fancies. They grow up to become a couple. There's some other.. minor details, but its a great movie and I can never remember the name.
irreplaceable you?
Yep!

Don’t even think about messing with her man
Looking at these comments leads me to one conclusion time to get off Reddit for the day.
Future: So how long have you been married.
Wife: Well, we been married for about 15 years?
Husband: She means we been married for 38 years.
Wife: Oh sweetie. She means how many years we been married. Not how long we have known each other.
Husband: I know.
Do men know they don't have to get married? Bunch of miserable dudes in this thread.
SHE LOVES HIM SO MUCH 💗💗💗💗💗
He appears to be the only black child in the whole class. I'm sure she's being loving and protective and is probably kinda fascinated with him. And he looks like he's feeling kinda...well, objectified yet also happy to have somebody.
They are speaking Chinese in the video so i imagine he is the child of an expat.
Was thinking that as well.
Lol reddit is fucking bonkers
And she ready to fight for her man too. Don’t get it twisted!
norbit and rasputia vibes lol “you gotta girlfriend? Well you do now” 🤣
That’s a stage five clinger.
Weird ass fuckin adults in here judging a sweet baby girl. Shame on you all. She’s just a little lover girl with her bestie, stop sexualizing and adultifying them.
It's alright. They'll divorce when they move on to first grade or something
I respect a man who can land a lady while wearing white polka dot overalls.
I want those polka-dot overalls in adult-size.
I love this for them.
This is sooo cute! Lololol. Reminds me of my pre-k hubby. He moved away and I was devastated. Then I met him again in elementary school and he didn't even remember me. Really sweet video, it would be lovely to think they may always have this bond
Dayum, she said get up off my manz or catch these handz, they rated E for Everybody.
She's locked in.
Kid looks like he just got adopted
I teach a little older then this age and when I see this behavior I usually begin separating those kids. I can’t imagine how overwhelming and exhausting it would be to grow up as a black child in Korea.
*China. They’re talking in Mandarin
Ha, sure enough! I saw the writing on the wall and chair behind and thought Korean, but it’s very childlike characters. Then took the mute off to hear the mandarin and English.
"So how did you two meet?"
Little sis said he is mine find your own!
r/lostredditors
Wait until her grandmother sees this.
With the way medical health is helping people to age, this could be the first couple married for 100 years.
It's the 1000 yard stare for me :D that poor boy haha
OMG SO CUTE
Poor boy is the only black kid. Teacher probably told the girl she's responsible for him. Very touching, nothing stupid about it.
Teacher definitely did not do that... She probably just likes him lmao. He's a cute little boy. 4 year old kids are not racist. Man, people think black people are always victims it's so odd.
Lol I want to disagree 4 year olds can definitely be picky, and anyone who looks different is told
As the mother of a then 4 year old that was told by her friends she wasn't invited to play with them because she the "wrong" colour skin.
Yep. I always HAD to be the Black ranger in elementary school even though the blue ranger was my favorite.
I’m not even black - I’m Latino. I was just the darkest one lol
Kids don’t develop ideas like that out of nowhere. At that age, most of what they say is learned by observing and repeating what they hear from parents or other adults around them. Children mimic behavior, they don’t form social prejudices on their own.

You have no clue what kind of interpersonal racism your classmate might have experienced.
Lmao, I know the dude quite well. But okay buddy.
As a kid who was at one point him, the lone black child in a room of white faces, I'm really hoping none of them are conjuring my name to claim that racism is no problem.
Oh, I dont like that at all. I'm sorry she had that experience.
Who's taking about racist? Kid might be new and not speak any Chinese.
Yeah maybe. So naturally the teacher picked the child out for a mentorship program, probably. It's not a big deal, I just thought the imagination was a bit out there.
The comment was “he’s the only black kid…” not “perhaps he doesn’t speak Chinese” 😆
Eh, nah what's more likely is the little girl's parents are probably rather openly affectionate, so little girl thinks the constant hand holding and attention is normal with someone you like
You think openly affectionate Chinese parents is more likely than a teacher going 'help the kid who doesn't speak a word of Chinese participate for me'
I thought something like that too.
That's what I was thinking, that maybe that's why she protects him so much
What is stupid, is this comment. Teachers don't do that.
Teachers do do that. I had black friends who had their K and Pre-K teachers do that for the solo of color or foreign kid in a new class. Anything else you need to be educated on?
I'm a teacher, dumbass.
This cute but to the lil girl he probly like shiny pokemon or sumthing.
You got a girlfriend?
No.
YOU DO NOW!
Awww they gonna reconnect in college
and they'd end up making the greatest golfer in the world
That far away stare, he knows it will never end.
Poor kid
Why
Because how is any other woman in the future gonna compare to the ride or die he's got now?
Yea, the bar was set high early lol
He is probably new, she's just his buddy. Bless, he looks so awkward.
Bro is whipped already
Stupid????? NAH. This is cute and the lil girl even defended him in the end <3
Million-mile stare, yep, married.
I’m glad that girl is being raised right
He absolutely has that look in his eyes!
This gave me Norbit/Rasputia vibes
That’s her man and nobody is going to tell her any different!!!!
Bro better not let her go
Who took these videos and made the montage? His family or hers? My guess is boys older brother to use later in life as blackmail or something.
Probably a teacher or aide or babysitter pr whatever. An adult who watches these children. They did it because its adorable
I wasn't actually asking, the question was just the setup for my theory of a sibling playing the long game.
I love how she had his back at the end. Looks like a kid that's just moved to a different country and does not know the language yet.
why is this kids are stupid?
If this ain't proof of reincarnation being real then idk what is
His rizz is something I wish to learn
She ain't let nobody near her man that's so cute.
Cute 🥰
This isn't cute, it's not good. As a parent of both sons and daughters...this would be stopped immediately. It's not good for that poor little boy at all, and it's also not good for the little girl to think she just dictate someone's actions at that age...though I assume she's learned it somewhere.
Marriage bad. Now laugh
They aren’t really married though did you not realize that?
I was talking about the caption of the post
Marriage experience is good though
I know. That's why I'm talking about the fact that OP very apparently hates their partner
No way out 😭
This is the most adorable thing I’ve seen in a while
was she washing the black outta him?
He was happier before her
I think she keeps trying to wash the color off his skin, but it doesn’t work. 😅😆🥹
Being the only black kid.
