• Hello everyone! As a reminder this is a satire subreddit for the dumb/silly things children do. The subreddit name is not literal. Although posts can have kids doing actual "stupid" things. It is not a requirement. Yes, blaming the parent is valid. However, this does not mean crossing the line into actually insulting the parent is ok (assuming they are the OP) (Rule #1).

This is also not a hate sub for children. If you don't like kids, that's fine. Just don't spread vitriol.

Please read the sidebar for more information.

I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please contact the moderators of this subreddit if you have any questions or concerns.

  • I quite like it that children actually want to help. They are shit at helping most of the times but still.

  • OP missed when the dad goes ‘glad you helped, otherwise i would’ve finished way sooner’

  • That was me the other day with my toddler. I was carrying the super heavy Christmas tree on my shoulder (trunk first) and my son was „carrying“ the tip of the tree. Aka pulling it down and making my life harder.

He was so proud that he helped me though, so I just let him do it and told everyone that we carried the tree together.

My 2 yo daughter "helped" fix my lawn mower and she kept bringing me sockets and I wasn't really paying attention because I was working on the carb and I look at my feet and there's like 30-40 sockets at my feet... so your estimates are correct lol

  • I feel like this does help it not tilt and hit his knees

  • Nah…where is the “kids are cute” subreddit?

  • “The Chinese says”. ??

I think they’re referring to the text. At first I thought they meant the girl lol

Makes sense now. Should be reads I think.

It’s nice that you help me move them, otherwise I would have already finished way earlier.

  • Nothing stupid here. I love this. And I love when my baby boy “helps”. It’s the worst/best. Haha.

  • How is this stupid? Thats a dad spending quality time

  • In the adult workplace this is also how it feels when being the most productive worker somehow makes you the most qualified to train the new guy with no previous experience nor any functional skills.

  • I remember pulling fairings off my bike at my brother's house. Trying not to get frustrated at my nephew because just as I was finished with one screw he would point to the next and go " you missed one" was halfway through before realising there was an easier way. I gave him the Allen key. Hours later a few beers into an hour long job. And my nephew had serviced my bike including replacing the thermostat, chain and because shits and giggles replaced and bled the brake fluid.

  • Was anyone else waiting for the board to hit a doorframe and knock them both down? Too many “fail” videos pop into my feed 🤦🏼‍♂️. this was just happy ❤️

  • I "helped" dad as a very young kid by filling his work van gas tank with water from the hose. Apparently I must have heard him mention he had fuck all gas

Also unrelated but this child gives me cuteness aggression for some reason lol
