I had the genius idea to get ”a tonne” of walnuts from the tennis ball black walnuts growing in my neighbors yard.

Harvested three five gallon buckets….did the required fifty steps….. broke two crescent wrenches to get 2/3 cup !

Why wait for Thanksgiving? That should be a regular menu item year round, imo.

Set up to fail. Kid saw peanuts and well, this happened. Like why isn't it turkey or pie or like any actual food you find on the T-Day table? Nuts are more of a Christmas treat; "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire..." after all.
