One of my favorote memories of my daughter. She was about 4 and got up in the night. Decided to paint , coated herself in it. Then put herself back to bed. Woke up the next moring and she looked like the Hulk . Told me someone must of broke in , in the night and painted her and left.
This reminded me of yhe time I would sneak to the bathroom to eat the chocolate spread in there, somehow got it all over me and would rush back to bed when I heard anyone on the stairs. I'd pretend to be asleep not realising I'm covered in it. Parents knew but never said anything. As an adult I question why there was chocolate spread in the bathroom, when I was still on speaking terms with my mother I did bring up this fun memory only to be told why the chocolate was up there..
I did something similar as a kid, except I used my mom’s makeup. Lol. I had a Tweety Bird pillow that I slept on, and when I woke up the next morning, there was an imprint of what looked like a clown’s face basically on the side of the pillow I slept on. 😆 My mom saw me after I had fallen asleep and managed to get a picture of me. I need to dig through my storage stuff & see if I can find it because I do have the photo tucked away somewhere. Lol
Little bro sounds like he has more emotional intelligence than dad. He did forget to think about options though. But unless they're using some chemical or really expensive paint, I doubt it'll be difficult to remove
Unfortunately relatable. At this age I was far more emotionally intelligent than my parents and would find myself in situations like this all the time.
Yeah.. It’s cute and all, and I’m sure it’s supposed to be funny and all good fun, but in general raising one’s voice too often over every little mistake is not going to help kids in the future. I speak from personal experience growing up like this. It’s unnecessary behavior.
My mom gave her God children markers for Easter, a day or so before Easter. The girls used the markers to color themselves and each other. The mom couldn't get the marker off, so they just went to church that way. One of them is a model now... not for markers, but yeah.
My kid drew on the walls of our previous home that was a rental, with his crayons and markers, which were both Crayola. We left it up till we moved out and cleaned the drawings off. It was his home too and he wanted to decorate it 🤷🏻♀️ it was like 4 drawings, so it’s not like the entire house was covered in scribbles 😂 and most of them were in the family room/ play room anyways
It's mind-blowing to me that there are kids that have defined muscles. I did sports...I was still chunky...to be fair though, I grew like a foot one summer in middle school and then was pretty skinny for a while after that. Either way, muscle babies seem strange to me.
How is it possible that a kid his age have well-defined abs like that, while I'm busting my ass trying to get just a tiny bit of muscle definition on my jiggly belly???
Abs aren’t generally shown because you’ve got an extra strong stomach, they just show when your overall fat percentage is low. I haven’t seen mine in many years…
my daughter though it would be fun to 'draw' all over our giant tv screen with yoghurt. It was a bugger to get off once it had dried. Had to carefully use a scalpel for the worst bits. we still have the tv after 12 years :)
This is the opposite of condom ad for me ha ha! Such a sweet little kid and he said sorry. I once ate the blue crystals from a crystal growing kit so at least it wasn't that bad!
If they're not using paint that's toxic or expensive (I assume you probably wouldn't give that to a fairly young child) you can just wash it off probably
I’m gonna be so honest, I really don’t like it when parents yell or even sternly talk down to their kid about non issues.
Like okay, it’s paint on their arm. Worst case scenario it stains a bit and washes off after a few days. There’s no reason for them to get in trouble? The natural consequence is the staining and learning their lesson

Did you catch the guy? Or did you break it to her that you knew? Lol

sooo why were they keeping chocolate spread in the bathroom???
Yeah, I didn't want to type it. But sex things apparently. So I ate my mums sex spread.
NUTella…
You what (´⊙ω⊙`)!
That's terrible I hope they caught the guy!
We need Liam Neeson to find that dastardly midnight painter. He can't get away with this!

Adorable, i hope my dad has memories like this of me, i’ll have to ask him.
“Oooh, sorry” when it clicked
He said sorry like it actually never accuert to him to use paper xD
It's not that big of a deal dad
I think it sounds worse cos of the accent lol this is the place where cunt is a friendly term lmao
Yeah sometimes when they call each other names it sounds like they are at war
Coincidentally this is also the place with very high domestic violence rates

I was the same, and unfortunately the situation remains unchanged 30 years later.

Yes this little boy is clearly scared :( he's so cute I feel so bad for him for his dad raising his voice at him
I mean they can just wash it off...?
I'm assuming they weren't using lead paint.
Or like, deck stain
Has anybody else noticed that Wilko and Poundland sell boat paint? Like who the fuck owns a boat and buys their paint from Poundland?
Aw, he felt bad about it.
That look of “oh, that makes sense” before the apology is killing me.

Not often does my heart just break for kids but damm this for some reason made me tear up a little.

Hey, the first one didn't show up :p thanks for the heads up, I'll remove this one.
it's ok! just made me giggle xD
The younger boy just happy to be alive 😂
Aw he genuinely didn’t even consider paper, that look of realization once the dad said it 🤣 might be a condom ad, but this one was cute

Kid is absolutely adorable, this one ain't a condom add, this one is a self aware kid who didn't think things through
I wish more parents had your awareness and understanding.

Jeez that kids abs though…
It's dads fault entirely.
“My bad, dad”
Scripted
Deku used all of his power... Again!
This man has probably had sex for the last time 9 months before the younger one was born.
No reason to get angry at a child for painting their arms. Even if it was a permanent marker, it would come off.
LOL! Time to bring out the hose and rinse that off.
Like... was this actually a big deal tho? They took off their shirts and apparently were even doing it outside.
Piper better watch out. These kids are coming for her.
I like the colour gradient that he made, very pretty. Just toss them in a pool or hose them off, they'll be fine XD
This is completely fine and not terrible at all, have you met any children before?
That's actually adorable.

He sounds so polite
This is adorable lol 😆

I mean this one’s kinda cute ngl
If it's not all over the house why be so mad. They're kids, the paint will come off in time.
What a wasted opportunity.
Crush the kid’s excitement and curiosity because YOU couldn’t be bothered to show them/supervise them.
“We were having so much fun! Then dad got really annoyed at us and made me feel stupid.”
"Oh sorry" lol 🤣 damn kids
This is the opposite of condom ad for me ha ha! Such a sweet little kid and he said sorry. I once ate the blue crystals from a crystal growing kit so at least it wasn't that bad!
☺️

I was washing dishes while my 3-year-old daughter was watching Dora.
It took me 10 minutes to wash them.
She decided to quietly go into my room and climb up 3 drawers to the basket of nail polish.
It was all over her arms, face, and in her hair. Plus, all over my walls, carpet, and bed. She just dumped them out.
I cried while she looked at me like I was completely overreacting.
"Just polish mom"
This is dumb. Just be glad your kids didn’t paint all over their face and hair, upholstery, or the dog.
Idk looks like a good kid to me.
tbh this is a lil bit strange, they're kids and this is bound to happen. i'd react like this if it was lead paint or something
What’s the dad so upset for? They’re young kids they do this shit all the time
Paint huh? He does doesn’t happen to have any cornfields nearby?
Awwww the sorry at the end 😔
I dont think dad is as upset as some are th8nking here lol
Bit of an over reaction from dad. It's not the end of the world unless kid was given some old paint that use toxic chemicals.
I’m gonna be so honest, I really don’t like it when parents yell or even sternly talk down to their kid about non issues.
