I make tacos or fajita weekly.
It seems like it should be so much less work and taste so much better, I need an easier process.. I’m a mom of 2 small kids. But the “sheet pan” and “crock pot” tacos suck (when I make it) 😭😭
I will put meat on the stove to brown with seasoning, avocado oil or olive oil. Chicken or ground beef. Add taco seasoning.
I love grilled or sauteed bell peppers but they always turn out unflavored, too mushy, or I try to not cook as long so then they are too raw.
Then there’s adding toppings… I love easy street tacos: pico or cilantro and onions. family likes chopped lettuce, sour cream, cheese.
I just don’t know what I’m doing wrong
Help me!
YouTube how to properly sauté. It helps a lot and usually only in stainless and you get more evaporation for more browning and less steaming than non stick.
Adding because this recipe is dang near fool proof and even my non-keto peeps love it.

Thanks for the recommendation! I love a good egg dish, and even a good egg burrito, but my go-to daily craving is a good old fashion meat and a little veggie fajita bowl or keto taco
Do you make your own taco seasoning? It's something Ive been doing for a hot minute and it made all the difference in the world for me.

I add this or similar, after meat is browned. Although they do soften, they hold up pretty well. Adds a little texture. I’ve also been known to use a half can of beer rather than water. Cover and simmer until liquid is pretty much gone.
Red fajita seasoning and squeeze of lime after cooking. (Alternative if you have a Mexican meat market near you is to get their pre seasoned fajita meat)
It's all in the seasoning. The more the better to me. Preseason the meat or cut it up to absorb more per piece. I add more heat too.
