I would absolutely rather have the better draft choice. This is a unique situation where a competitive franchise has the opportunity to reset a bit. The organization/leadership isn’t worried about proving themselves to keep jobs next year and can be focused on 2026 entirely. Winning does nothing for 2026, losing helps.
While I want the chiefs to have a better pick in the draft, I would also like to see Travis get a spectacular day at Arrowhead, maybe two or three tds with a 100+ yard game! To end his career on a high! He has given this organization so much, he deserves to go out on a high! (P.S I hope this isn’t the last season he plays at arrowhead, if possible I want him to get one final ring before he retires!)
Wasn’t worried. I know there is no chance and I want the better pick. But it would’ve a fun Christmas gift to beat the Broncos. True Christmas miracle.

They say the only stupid question is the one you don’t ask. I retort that when it comes to sports there is a line of people saying hold my beer to jump on posting the dumbest questions ever.
I was there. That game was some of the most fun I've had at Arrowhead in years. I had almost forgotten what it's like to expect to lose and be pleasantly surprised when we keep it competitive. Hell, we had a chance to win at the end against the current one seed
As much as I’d like to see a Christmas Miracle and thrash the Broncos, I’d almost rather have the better draft choice. Veach has a lot now work to do.

If we were worried about winning we wouldn't have placed half the team on IR with "injuries." we are in full tank mode.

Hey! That’s TWO TIME Super Bowl champion Chris Oladokun to you. Put respect on his name.
Would be amazing if he pulled a Patty and plays well with his first real week of practice as the starter.
I hope he does great. No injuries anywhere and that we lose to get a better draft pick
Temu Mahomes
Ya get what ya get and you don't pitch a fit. :)
Not even pitching a fit. It's just good to have humor at times like this.
I just wanted to quote my dead grampa. I took my shot.
He sounds like he was a fun guy.
Yeah. It's no wonder I take my coffee black and my chiefs in any shape they show up in.
Merry Christmas, by the way.
Merry Christmas to you too good sir. My chiefs are my chiefs too.
Why did we re-sign Buechele if we’re sticking with Oladokun? Wasn’t Buechele higher on the depth chart when he was here?
Did you see what happened to uncle Rico……that’s why.
Right, but I thought he was being brought in because they weren’t satisfied with Ola.
We hardly need a 4th string backup for 2 throwaway games. Just let Gray, or better yet Trav, go in as emergency QB if we end up needing a sub.
Hahaha I’d love to see kelce slinging it! Hopefully Oladokun can stay safe behind that reshuffled O-line
I would assume it’s because they need a backup. Past two starters have gone out the past two weeks - NFL can get wild really quickly.

This is going to be a cruel, one-sided game. I feel really sorry for the fans to go see this one at arrowhead.
