The advantage I saw with Tim is first of all with his experience as gov he’s “ready on day one.”. The VP slot is largely ceremonial but there’s that whole heart beat away thing. I don’t know what’s on the horizon for Pete. A run for senate then run for POTUS or Veep paired w random straight white guy could work.
America is at our base a sexist, racist & homophobic country or is to a large extent. And there’s only so much intelligence, competence and being articulate we can take without that bubbling up. Pete w Andy Beshear or Pete w Roy Cooper or even Pete w Tim could work in the future.
