Back in 2006 I was in a unit that was attached to the 1 Marine Expeditionary Force (FWD) element that was based out of Camp Blue Diamond in Ramadi Iraq. We got orders to wear their patch as our combat patches, my unit was also awarded a Navy Unit Citation as well. So I have USMC and Navy awards even though I was never in those branches.
It's a non-Stabrite version that I was issued from supply in 2006. That was a rough trip to Iraq, we were dodging mortars for about a week, and there was a sniper across the Euphrates from our position that was taking pot shots at us. Artillery solved that problem!
This is my work stocking. It lives in my desk drawer the rest of the year. I swapped the patch out this year, there is no other indication of my Army service in my office.

I wouldn't know. This is my once a year thing I do at work. I have no other indication that I was ever in the Army on my desk or walls.
Oh, and I did almost 10 before my body crapped out and I was retired medically.
