The Bondi shooting was not an isolated act of violence. It was the logical endpoint of the normalization of radicalized anti-Israel rhetoric in Australia.

  • That phrase should be criminalized. It's a death threat. It's not free speech. Death threats are illegal even in countries with the strongest free speech laws.

Ironically it's safer to be a crazy jihadist in a Western country than an Arab one.

Even the Hamas-simp nation of Egypt cracked down on these people in no time once they actually came to Egypt. Muslim leaders actually know something about jihad, whereas you could put Albanese in a months long intensive class about it and he still couldn't tell you what it is or what it means.

Nah I think you’re being too kind on him by claiming he is ignorant. He knows what it means but doesn’t actually care - or worse is pro the position

Maybe, but I think if he and other world leaders REALLY knew what it meant then, like Muslim leaders, they'd understand that it's not only a threat to Jews but a threat to the entire society including the values that people like Albanese claim to believe in.

But perhaps the difference is that one upsurge in jihad could easily be the death of El-Sisi or the Saudi royals (like it was for President Sadat and the Shah) whereas Western countries are still a long way from significant Muslim control.

    You’re being naive.

Labor and Albanese aren’t ignorant to what they exactly mean but they are not going to risk losing or alienating Muslim votes to the Green Party to make you or any one else in the Australian Jewish community feel safe. So they play none the wiser as plausible deniability.

It’s all a numbers game and the Jewish community in Australia is so dwarfed that their concerns are dismissed as expendable.

Nobody has a more cynical view of politicians than me, but I would need more proof to concretely believe they care so little about anything besides themselves to knowingly take the actions that will eventually convert most Western countries into, at best, Lebanon-style Islamised countries, and thus eliminate most other beliefs they profess to have.

Rather, I find it more likely they are so stupid and naive as to believe this magically couldn't ever happen no matter how much they pander to Islamism and surge Muslim migration.

Believe me, nothing else these people do demonstrates any type of foresight at all. Everything they touch, every new policy, turns into a disaster.

Yeah but the Muslim leaders are planning for decades of power - in the west, your term is limited, at whatever stance gets the most votes wins.

Albanese after months long intensive class: JiHAd MeaNs STRUGglE

The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in Egypt in 1928, but otherwise yes - a democratically(?) elected president from the MB (Mohammed Morsi) was toppled by the army.

live in the UK and can confirm this - earlier today I saw a video of Muslims and Christians singing Christian hymns in a church in Lebanon. this example of interfaith is beautiful, but Muslims here have a seizure if another Muslim puts up a Christmas tree.

It’s not a death threat but it is incitement and incitement is not covered under most freedom of speech laws

No no no, you see the good folks in the soccer sub assured me that the phrase has no connection to violence.

In the US it's not. Our free speech standards are very strong.

For a threat or incitement to violence to be criminal it has to be targeted at a specific person and actionable.

Generically calling for the death of an entire group of people is not a crime. The KKK is also not illegal, and they are a domestic terrorist organization.

However Title 6 of the civil rights act requires Universities to provide an education free of racial discrimination or a racially hostile environment. A student is still free to violate the civil rights act but the university is then obligated to remove them from campus.

Death threats are still illegal in the US. Inciting violence is illegal. A call to murder millions of people is even more illegal than a call to murder one person.

Making terroristic threats is illegal in the US.

This and the slogan "from the river to sea" should be banned and criminalized, not only that they are a death threat, they also promote antisemitism, ppl should wake up before it's too late to realize that this so-called religion of peace is never about peace.

It's not a death threat unless sent to a specific person. I can say kill all Arabs and it's not illegal but if I say kill x in specific then it's illegal hate speech

  • Globalise the Intifada has always been nothing more than an attempt to create the permission structure for pro-Palestinians to engage in terrorism while feeling like their community is behind them. The same goes for their Death to the IDF, Khayber, and Make Them Afraid chants.

This is a group that is openly and blatantly trying to self-radicalise itself and they are suceeding as their followers do more and more of these attacks.

And the institutions meant to protect us are letting it happen. These people are allowed to shout whatever they want and self-radicalise.

The judicial branch won't stop it and the police won't stop it.

The media reports in a way that helps these people radicalize and when something goes down, like that horrible terrorist attack in Australia, they all cry tears and say how horrible it is.

    They let it happen.

  • Intifada is a secret word for pogrom

As anyone qith a brain alreqdy knew

  • What? A terror attack in the same place that endorced calls of "gas rhe jews" how surprising

  • My candles are lit tonight here in Canada. I don’t have a menorah but the candles I do have are shining bright tonight in memory of the innocent souls who died at Bondi and in solidarity with Jewish people around the world. Lighting them brought me a sense of peace this evening after spending the day battling horrible rhetoric. You aren’t alone 🇨🇦❤️🇮🇱

  • One day the intifada will be globalized not only for the jews worldwide but for all "infidels", including those "leftists", who are now in favor of this nationalistic, islamofascist mindset. Only then the whole western world will know what this phrase truly means. And it will be too late.

It has already been globalized against non-Jews. Christmas markets in Europe are getting attacked by these psychos. India is being attacked. Christian countries in Africa are being attacked. The US was attacked on 9-11. The list is long.

Sure, but I think that many European “leftists” are still in denial, or adopt an apologetic stance (“muslims are doing terror attacks because of past colonialism / systemic racism / class division / etc…”), or unambiguously support it (because of “class struggle” against the je… sorry, the rich). My point is that one day even those in denial will eventually experience it firsthand. It’s a matter of time for these antisemites.

  • Insert "anti-semitism is not anti-zionist" comments

  • Yeah pretty much. Disgusting.

  • I mean it's always meant that even to the Westerns that chant it. They've always been against Jews living in their own nation as well as in Israel it's always go back to x country never ever naming it for this reason

  • In a sane world, this would’ve been a wake-up call. Instead there’s conspiracy theories, deflection, relativization. Half a day and the people enabling this already moved on. The protests will continue, chants will continue, attacks will happen again.

  • There's no choice anymore. The next time Israel gets attacked It's got to respond with the maximum damage possible in a very short amount of time- regardless of the palestinian civilian lives it would cause.

Stretching out the October 7th response to over a year is what caused this community of hatred to rise around the world. The more israel tried to help the civilians of gaza the more the hatred rose. We are living in the age of Tick Tock now where these lunatics forget things quickly after they are done. Soon as the hostages were back all those videos about israel stealing land or whatever stopped. They all moved on to dancing cats on tick tock again. Sadly Israel is better of destroying half of Gaza in 2 days so these loons forget quickly and put their on dancing tick tock vids again, rather than helping civilians and stretching it out for 2 years.

hey guys, condolences to the whole jewish community. I'm not trying to offend anyone here. I just did a quick google trend search and it seems there is about 100 searches of the shooters name in Israel at 2pm Australia time and no where else in the world and way before Australian media and police were aware. I'm guessing it could be the israeli government behind this or more likely there are islamic terrorists in israel who may have some connection. What are your thoughts?

My thoughts are that I really wish I could give you a piece of my mind face to face. My thoughts are you come from a Jew-obsessed culture that needs to blame Jews for everything and that when non-Jews slaughter us you need to blame the victims.

    That's my thoughts. Disgusting.

we usually dont approve conpsiracy theories but you seem to come in good faith. just a reminder to keep a civil discussion.

    Regarding what you noticed,
In my telegram groups, the ID of the shooter (with the name) was posted way before the media provided the name.

Its a group with ~10k members, and who knows how many groups it was forwarded to.
What i'm trying to say is that its perfectly normal that ~100 of these members saw the name and did a quick google search.

IMO thats the most logical explanation. hope this helps!

The idea that Israel is committing Islamist terrorist attacks in foreign countries to make us feel pitted against each other is the most unhinged nonsense. I'm sorry, but it is. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and this just ain't it.

The violence from Muslim communities to Jewish communities in the past two years (and before) is nothing new at all. Multiple such attacks have been thwarted in the past few months from Muslims. No one needs to "pit us against each other" or anything.

And, the idea it just has to be Israel pulling the strings really leans into shadowy cabal run by Jews pulling the strings and crap. Like, it does.

i will just add that the number you see isn't "number of times the name was searched", but "Interest over time". Quoting from google:

Numbers represent search interest relative to the highest point on the chart for the given region and time. A value of 100 is the peak popularity for the term. A value of 50 means that the term is half as popular. A score of 0 means there was not enough data for this term.

So they aren't deleting searches, but relative to the 100 of yesterday (after the shooters name was public knowledge) the 22 becomes zero.

Again I don't know what the search on dec10 is. but it isn't 22 searches. It could've been one person searching the name of a relative
