Hello everyone!

How long did it take for you to get a passport from when you got your FBR approved.

Thanks :)

  • The passport tracker says it's taking about 44 days from when your passport application documents are received until you're approved for a passport book:

You can apply for a passport as soon as you are approved and receive your FBR certificate. Just know that it might take a couple of weeks from when you receive your FBR approval email until you receive your certificate. Mine took 11 days to reach me here in the United States. And you need your FBR certificate to complete your Passport application.

  • Depends on when you send in your passport application no? Some people never get their passports. Two separate processes. You can’t apply for your passport until you get the actual form anyway. So there’s not really “a timeline” so to speak.

  • I sent my passport application 3 days after receiving my FBR cert. It’s all up to the individual.

  • Mine took 14 months. No delays with FBR (10m) but a bit of a delay applying, then I had to find another witness because they couldn't get in touch with the first.

  • My FBR was approved on the 24th October, and I received my passport on the 21st December with only about a week in between receiving the FBR cert and applying for the passport.
