I was born in England moved back to Ireland when I was a kid, when I was 21 I applied and received my Irish passport emigrated to US in the 80’s still have my Irish passport and now am trying to get passports for my kids. My issue is I keep getting asked for my naturalization papers but don’t recall ever getting any. Anyone know what I need to do?

You say "moved back to Ireland". Where were your parents born?
If they were born on the island of Ireland then you were automatically an Irish citizen, you never naturalised.
If that's the case you need to apply for the Foreign Births Register for your children. Answering "born of a parent born Ireland" as the way you acquired citizenship.
Ok thanks
I need an “original foreign birth registry certificate” again I never received one.

Ok thanks I’ll try that
You've given the wrong answer about how you acquired citizenship. You're not on the FBR. You were automatically an Irish citizen
Yes
You didn't naturalise then, you're an Irish citizen born abroad whose parents were born in ireland
Yes but how do I prove that? When they ask for documentation.

For you and one of your Irish parents you're going to need:
State-Issued: Full Birth certificate (including parents names), all marriage certificates
Certified copy of current passport or driving license, or a death certificate if they're dead.
You can get a new copy of the relevant certificates by applying online from GRO for England and HSE for Ireland.
Appreciate it thanks
