A top Putin mouthpiece reckons Russian forces will join up with US soldiers, which Kremlin watcher Julia Davis said came after Moscow was "inspired by the Trump administration’s anti-European stance"

Russian and American troops will join forces to invade European cities, a top Kremlin mouthpiece has chillingly warned.

Propaganda tsar Vladimir Solovyov claimed the death of Lance Corporal George Hooley – who died in Ukraine earlier this month – was justification for attacking Britain as it has "entered into war with Russia".

Speaking on his Russian state radio show "Full Contact", Solovyov ranted: "Therefore, we should strike the enemy on their territory. We see that Great Britain entered into war with Russia having sent its armed forces into combat.

"The Overton Window was demonstrated to us after the death of a British soldier with the telling surname Hooley. What the heck are we to anticipate?

"Britain declared war against us. Their troops have entered the territory of Ukraine and are participating in the military activity against our country. What are we waiting for? Let's carry out a strike over there."

Solovyov, a key Putin ally, told viewers of his nightly tv show: "Once again we will have to destroy Berlin, and enter this godforsaken city.

"Once again we will have to enter Paris. Once again we will have to liberate Vienna. Well perhaps the Austrians will reconsider."

He went on: "If Americans want to protect their investments, they can fight Ukrainian drones with their air defence systems.

"Do you want to put your air defence systems on our territory and test them against your own s**t? Go ahead, defend your investments.

"By the way, I won't be surprised if at some point in time, combined groups of Russian-American combat troops will storm German, Belgian, French and British cities."

US journalist and Russia watcher Julia Davis said the warmonger – who has been sanctioned by Britain and the EU for promoting disinformation in the past – was "inspired by the Trump administration’s anti-European stance".

It comes after a Trump and his Vice President JD Vance made a number of anti-European comments in recent months.

Earlier this year, Vance accused EU leaders of suppressing free speech, failing to halt illegal migration and running from voters’ true beliefs.

Earlier this month, the Trump administration published its national security strategy, which claimed Europe faces “civilisational erasure” because of migration and a censorious EU “undermining political liberty and sovereignty”.

The White House policy paper was well received in Moscow as the Kremlin called it an "encouraging change of policy that largely aligns with Russian thinking".
