Sometimes there’s people who are just vain and don’t understand how bad they’re doctoring their photos, and then there’s someone like this who very obviously has extreme body dysmorphia. I feel bad for her and hope she gets some help.
Yeah I agree, she is unwell. And she’s likely a victim of the exact thing this sub tries to combat (the promotion of unrealistic beauty standards). What blows my mind is that OP said the comments were full of praise
My sister had a severe ED and was very underweight and said the positive comments about how she looked is what kept her doing it for so long, which in hindsight it blows my mind anyone could look at someone that thin and not be concerned medically.
No one can convince me that that profile isnt a man's sock puppet account. Those ridiculous edits seem so ham-fisted that only the crustiest of incels held captive deep within the gulag of horny jail, could make something like that.

This extreme photo and video editing is a scourge. It’s making people believe that they must achieve this “ideal” that doesn’t exist. An ideal that can only be achieved if they make an extreme edit a photo or video.
If I could have told myself then what I know and am experiencing now, I don’t think I would have done it.
what i want more than anything is to get a bunch of recordings of the people that comment on this in a positive and normal way actually encountering someone looking and shaped exactly like this in person at random just to see and show them how absolutely terrified they would be lmao
