Got this today, I’m a 5 year 4.95 rated shopper. And lately I’ve seen a massive boost to customer fraud to try and receive free orders or refunds. I know exactly the customer that did it today too. They had to give me a pin upon drop off and that’s the only time I’ve ever seen that on an order in my 5 years active shopping
The customer fraud is up it must be that time of year.. i had someone report a whole order not delivered.. i mean there is picture if they don’t matter than why bother
Between that and the volume of $0 tippers being at a high, I’m taking more pics than ever on both leave it and meet the customer orders. Whenever possible I’ll make sure the customer is in the pic as long as they don’t mind.
Right but if that customer reports the order missing.. 1- you will not be told which customer 2- even if you know , you will not be given the chance to dispute it and or show your evidence
Exactly. I take photos and send them in chat to try to deter the customer from trying, but if they're a repeat offender they'll still do it anyway. It is best to keep them in a folder and note or "pin" which addresses to avoid in the future.
But you don’t get the addesses until after
You’re right, but we can only do so much, and there’s not many options for minimizing our risk. The few times customers have lied about their orders, I’ve had a feeling they would and would preemptively call support to have it documented and offered to return to the store due to sus delivery area or instructions.
There are no options eliminating this and there are zero protections.. not even to protect yourself..
The have us take a photo in which they sent the customer.. IC Does not ALWAYS refund..
But the rip it out of our pay and hit our ratings
It's so dystopian. "You did something wrong, related to quality. If it happens again, you will be penalized"
That’s my favorite analogy I’ve heard lol
