It happens a lot in these bumper sticker subs. Someone smarter than me can probably explain better, but I think it happens when you upload a grainy, zoomed in picture. Either the phone or reddit adds artifacts that make it look ai-ish.

It's entirely possible that your phone has some kind of AI touch-up or smoothing software built in. I know mine does. It ends up making it so perfectly legitimate photos are full of AI artifacts.
