Waiting on parts to finish my wwsd(ish) rifle upper. Wwsd stripped upper Ba Hanson 16 inch barrel Areo agb Pa special purpose nova scope. Cheap ul scope mount.
Hunting rifle was a pound lighter than before and most importantly my hands didn’t get as cold

What’s going on with your upper there? No dust cover and your forward assist doesn’t look like it’s installed. The KP15 lower is great for hunting. Lightweight, simple and it isn’t metal so it won’t get cold to the touch as much.
Is that a 556 upper for your lower?
Top is 6 arc Bottom is 223
I built mine specifically for hunting in 6.8SPC
The top one is a 6 arc and works perfectly
Kit Badger has a similar video out right now (KE15 lower and some what similar set up for the upper) plus a few more items too:

You can jump forward to 14:18ish to see it at work.
What is the upgrade? It’s just a lower.
Weight reduction
How was the rifle worse before and how is it better now? Weight reduction is a feature.
They literally just said it lol, it's easier to carry (especially if you're hunting on foot) and polymer doesn't conduct heat as much.
But why male models?
Better cuz my hands less cold, now that’s a real feature
