I can’t stand mission trees. A specific city in a specific province has to have 2 granaries for me to progress, even though I already have those granaries in another city in the same province… and I can’t even see this requirement in advance before I unlock the mission. I understand they are way to provide narative flavour but it feels so restrictive and arbitrary without taking in account the state of the save or situation in said regions. Glad that newer paradox games step aside from this concept.
I really appreciate your work on the mod, but is there any submod for Invictus that makes this less narrow?
Agree. Most of the generic ones should be province-based (except for some historical scenarios). Or take into account your past investments somewhere
I always delete a lof od these buildins whem the next mission needs another building xD
I agree, I often feel "cheated" when I open a mission tree and it's long, convoluted, with mediocre rewards.
Imo they should have a generic "number of pops/buildings check" for cities.
Also the conquest Misson trees should have a 90% own land check for completing it, instead or everything. I hate when I'm stuck only because I lack 1 territory because it was above 100 warscore... or even worse, it's uncolonised.
uncolonised territories shouldn't be considered uncompleted
Some of them are fine. Other are horrendous. The new Androphage tree... Is absolutely bad. Who thought it was a good idea that you had to assimilate the finnic with only the little androphagian pops we have to progress the mission tree?
Gymnasium is also horrendous.
Skill issue
The Massilia one also has you doing stuff all over the place, instead of focusing on consolidating power in our capital region. It's a race against time before Rome comes knocking, but we can't even access anymore the general conquest tree which would have been the most useful.
The Syracuse missions are pretty useful though.
