Started as the once proud capital of the Ionian League Miletos to reform into the Pan-Ionian-League until finally uniting (almost) all greek people to form the Hellenic League. Or is it the Western Hellenic Empire? Who knows. Stayed a Republic until the end out of nostalgia.
At the beginning expansion was rather difficult, because the seleucids and macedonians were very stable and strong. I had to fight Macedon 3 times being outnumberd my a large margin and being situated in the middle of everything there was always a new enemy on the horizon. Rome settled on expansion westwards after losing 5 times and getting kicked out of Macedonia, Greece and Illyria.
Loved this campaign from the beginning. Recommended!
