Dad cat is feral and doesn't let anyone touch or pet him, he comes, eats and sleeps but if you try to pet or catch him, he will bite and scratch you.
Mom cat was rescued by me from our home street, I was on the process of getting her spayed when the vet informed that she is already pregnant and have to wait till birth.
We didnt know who the dad was, but after 4 tabbies were born we understood it was this cat. Also momma only lets the Dad cat nearby while getting aggressive if another cat comes.
So we understood who the dad was.
Momma cat is domesticated now and we will get her spayed after she stops breastfeeding and vet says its ok.
Unfortunately we are stuck with Dad cat, we dont have any such pet catchers in our city and also to spay him we need to get his blood tests done and then operate on him which requires to catch and keep him under a roof for atleast 2 days.
That is sadly still not possible and we are still trying and seeing if somehow this can be done.
Momma cat will get spayed since she is indoors now, but stuck with dad cat.
On the bright side, it's possible that feral dad will decide that inside life and people are cool. TinyKittens on BC Canada has managed to work with ferals and to successfully get dozens over the years to enjoy inside life. Some don't. But many do.
Use a drop trap cage to catch him outside. Plus catching ferals is easier with a towel when inside. Try using an extendable back scratcher to pet him with, to get him used to touch without endangering yourself. Look at TinyKittens you tube, the founder Shelly, has videos on how to handle feral cats safely.

Beautiful family ❣️
Daddy was a tabby, I’m guessing. 🤣

Were these cats bred on purpose?

I also try my best to keep him in and catch him.
He stays inside especially during winters, but catching him is a completely different ball game.

Feral cats can eventually trust people with enough work and patience. I hope poppa gets there!
I hope not. Either way, it's snip-snip time.
