In my younger days I collected “Wizards.” These were people who were experts at something I wasn't. If I needed to know something, I rang up one of my Wizards. We have the internet now and our world is so much larger...and smaller. The distance between us has shrank to the length of a keyboard.

Everyone is a wizard at something. Everyone, even you. Just because you don't think your knowledge is worth much doesn't mean is isn't valuable to someone else.

This subreddit is about being experts to each other. You know something I don't. I know something you don't. Think of r/iknowaguy as being a ridiculously massive rolodex. Just create a post and add you card in here.

If you need an expert, just search the subreddit with the right keywords and find them and post your question as a Reply under their bio post. People will reply under your introductory post with questions. Please reply quickly and show them the same courtesy that you would want with your question.
