After i ovulated before retrieval they just send me messages from 12 eggs just 5 that’s can be injected and 1 has fertilized what’s that mean 5 that’s can be inject? It mean mature? Previously i have 20 eggs during monitoring and after retrieval yesterday the dr told me i have 24 but the 12 eggs is already gone due to ovulate.. I been telling my nurse that i feeling like I’m about to ovulated on day 8stims but she said that she wants to push some of my eggs to a bigger size. And yes day 9stims they see on my blood work i already ovulated,so they make emergency retrieval in the next morning.. Feeling sad after i spend so much money and time. I’m 30yo.
I'm so sorry. It's such a frustrating situation. The same thing happened to me at my 4th ER. Yes, that means that they were able to get 5 mature eggs. In my case, they got 0 mature eggs 🥲 I hope the one that fertilized keeps growing 🤞🏻
I know it’s my first ER i was so bummed 🙁 And i’m sorry that happened to you too 😖 Do you think the rest of 4 mature didn’t growing or can’t be fertilized?
It could be a lot of different factors. Did you do conventional IVF or ICSI (they pick and inject a sperm directly) for fertilization?
Edit: Oops I just realized you said they were able to inject into 5 eggs. It could fail to fertilize for several reasons, but it's hard to pinpoint. It could be sperm or egg related.
I see,i believe they injected a sperm directly. It’s my first IVF and I don’t know if i want to try the second one,i worry that this may happened again.
Some people have tried doing half conventional and half ICSI to see which method works better, but if you do another one, I hope your doctor will address the premature ovulation issue because I think that impacted your final outcomes.
I had good AMH and follicle count but one vessel is blocking the way to retrieve the eggs so I only get 20% of the expected. Hugs to you. I keep hopeful for you that the 1 is the strongest one that goes to the finals and win 🏆 it

Ugh, I am so sorry. I ovulated before my first ER too and I only got 6 eggs. I was crushed, in shock, and cried all the way home. It’s awful.
I have been lying down in bed all day after I found out about that. Hugs for us 🥹

Yes I’m in ganirelix but i still ovulated,yes i Already ovulated before my trigger shot Thank you! I feeling so upset 😭
