What should I do 1 month before our transfer? I’m in my last shot of Lupron and I’m just seeing what others do in preparation for their transfer?

Also what outfit did you wear? It’ll be cold for us on the Carolinas.

What did you do after the transfer?

  • I wore normal clothes. jeans and a top. I switched into sweatpants after the transfer mostly because my clinic is a couple hours away. I wore fuzzy socks during the transfer. I avoided anything scented

  • 1 month before I had my favorite foods and cocktails! Didn’t drink like crazy but had a martini, margarita & a cold beer! It was cathartic in preparing for what is to come.

I took Valium for my transfer to help relax my cervix so afterwards we got McDonalds French fries and then went home and I watched trash tv on the couch

This is so cute. Martini, marg and a beer and hopefully bon voyage! 😁😁

Exactly!! I also had oysters and sushi 💗

  • I would just keep your normal routine 1 month out, maybe indulge on some things you otherwise can’t have post transfer/during pregnancy (sushi, wine, etc.). 🙂. After transfer we got McDonald’s fries as our woo thing.

  • I stuck to my normal routine, tried not to stress about it, however the day itself was stressful because we were stuck in traffic and ended up late to the appointment. Luckily, they make us come an hour before any procedure so I wasn't late for the actual transfer. I did start eating pineapple the week of transfer and a few days after my transfer. There's no scientific proof that it helps, but it's said to help with implementation. After my transfer we went out to eat and then went home, where I slept and watched TV.

Good luck with your transfer ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • In the 30 days prior, just try and remain calm, stay chill. Day-of, I wore joggers, you’ll want something loose and easy to pull up and down, unlike leggings/jeans. McDonald’s fries was the first stop after leaving the office!

Oh yes, also get your wine fixes in and deli meat or whatever else you will have to give up soon!
