TW: RETRIEVAL SUCCESS
I went in for my retrieval on Saturday, we got 22 eggs, 16 of which were matured and 13 fertilized.
Got the call yesterday, 7 BLASTOCYSTS! I’m not doing PGT-A testing at it’s not covered in Canada. But I’m so extremely grateful and had to share it with a community that I know would share in the excitement :)
Fellow Canadian here! 25 retrieved, 20 fertilized and still waiting on updates for blastocysts.
Your numbers are awesome! Do they not test the quality tho?
The won’t do PGT-A testing unless I pay for it but they will tell me the quality at my following up in January :)

I also want to start the procedure. Do you mind sharing the name of fertility center in Canada? Also if the procedure was covered or you had to pay the cost ? I got it done in 2023 and paid lots of money but the procedure was unsuccessful. Now I was thinking to try it again in 2026. Just wanted to find out. Thanks
