Oh she will forget. And he will say something like 'I should have let the dog eat you'. At least that's how it would have played out in my dysfunctional childhood. After 2 weeks.
This is the most beautiful act of bravery, and pure love from someone so young. I am both a dog attack survivor (I was 3yo and mauled similarly on the face) and also a mother of a young boy and his little sister. This brings tears to my eyes to imagine what he decided to do and faced just to protect his little sister. Bless you, little hero. I hope he wears those cool battle scars proudly for the rest of his life.
Well.. Not criticising you, as I do see your point there (and its epic coolness), but ... I would add.. "If those scars never disapear from your face (witch I hope they do), at least they show how great you are".
Dogs should never be unsupervised around small children . They are at face level with a kid , so this is where they will be bit . Even a nice dog can bite . Knew someone who was playing and fell onto his sleeping dog . The dog attacked thinking he was under attack . This girl is lucky to have such a wonderful brother . Scars are thought of as macho on a male . Not so much for a girl . He will be thought of as handsome regardless , she would not have .
I remember seeing this story when it came out! I wanted to see how he was doing now, and he looks GREAT. He is handsome AF and only has a little scar that honestly looks pretty badass. What a great kid.
I didn't even think of that. Even if there's not much they can do, it's in such a "good" (i.e. lucky) location, all things considered. He's a boy first off, it's well inside his future beardline, it didn't extend to his mouth (which is horribly notorious for healing well) and doesn't affect his smile. I like to think his selflessness and bravery led to whatever powers that be to give him a very forgiving scar. 🙂
A true hero and future leader in wherever life takes him. Not just for incredible choice he made to protect his sister, but for the thought process, quick action. This wonderful human will go places.
II would be proud of this boy for risking his safety to protect his sister. I applaud the parents for helping to instill this child with great honor and mettle.
This boy now automatically wins every argument with his sister for the rest of his life lol
This boy will never have an argument with his sister, he got promoted to hero and she will never forget

😂😂😂😂😂
he did such a good, selfless act but the fact that he thought that at such a young age makes me so sad

All the best.

While I generally agree with you, I have to say that your punctuation gives me the heebie-jeebies.

Thank you so much for posting that. He healed so well. I needed to know he was okay.
Cheers, that makes me feel much better.
They should be able to do more scar reduction work once he stops growing so fast.

That thought that he had? That’s the definition of bravery.
Other people can try to describe what bravery is, or read it in a book and try to understand it.
This boy knows what it means without any of that, because he was born with it.
Kudos to you kid, your a hero!, (also glad you've still got both your eyes!
Such beautiful kids and very saddening.
Dogs -whatever their breed is- shouldn’t be allowed around kids.
I hope one day more people arrive in this conclusion.
What a brave young man.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Look at how buttoned up his vest. He always tries his best. So precious 😭

"German-shepherd "mix"....
fucking dogs
This story is from 2020 btw.
Imagine being a BAMF at age six. What a world we live in.
As a man, have you ever felt any less masculine than when looking at this news?
No matter what I do now, I'll never be half the man that this boy is.
I am humbled and I am in awe.
Lil man is brave
What a hero this boy is. A heart the size of a dustbin lid. God bless you son you deserve every good thing in life
Why it feels like they're in Harry Potter movies or something
He just solidified his Big Bro status... 💯
I can't imagine how awful it would be... being named Bridger Walker... the horror.
Do anybody know how are they doing now?
What happend to the dog owner?
Bravery
Wow, a future world leader there!!!
Dogs shouldn’t be allowed as pets. Period.
Shit bull I presume
A real man is born and raised that way, this Lad is and always will be a hero in my eyes
