• In 1933, William travelled to what had become Nazi Germany in an attempt to benefit from his half-uncle’s growing power. Adolf, who was now chancellor, found him a job at the Reichskreditbank in Berlin, a job that he held for most of the 1930s. He later worked at the Opel automobile factory as a car salesman. Dissatisfied with these jobs, he again asked his half-uncle for a better job, writing to him with blackmail threats of selling embarrassing stories about the family to the newspapers unless his “personal circumstances” improved.

In 1938, Adolf asked William to relinquish his British citizenship in exchange for a high-ranking job. Suspecting a trap, William fled Nazi Germany and again tried to blackmail his uncle with threats. This time, William threatened to tell the press that Adolf’s alleged paternal grandfather was actually a Jewish merchant. He returned to London, where he wrote the article “Why I Hate My Uncle” for Look magazine.

Apparently the guy wasn’t exactly a saint.

  • With the same unreadable screenshot.... Why post with this quality....

Yeah you can't see it, but he hates his uncle because he's not racist enough

Well, thank you OP for sharing this here.

  • Welp. I am no Trump fan but he is better than Hitler yeah?

Agreed. There’s a strong difference between the two.

We will find out i guess

I was going to say the same thing

    Exactly what I thought of

  • He only joined the US navy because he went to Germany throwing his name around and Hitler fkd him off.

It says that in "The Pact".

  • He was mostly pissed off that his plan to profit off of his Uncles regime failed.

  • Title applies to Mary Trump.

  • DJT's niece posts on twitter regularly about how she thinks no one should trust him for quite a few similar reasons... what a curious similarity

  • That Hitler guy sounds pretty awesome.

Edit: lol looks like some people didn’t get the joke.

Some people just want to be pissed off. I got your joke.

Not only did he serve in the Navy during WW2, his uncle killed Adolf Hitler!

    Good old Billie Hitler!

Nah, he was a real jerk

    You seem really smart.

  • Something interesting is that he said he hated his uncle, he even changed his surname because he wanted nothing to do with Hitler. But he named his first child, a boy, Alexander Adolf… I’m so confused of why 😂

  • WHOA IS THAT A HITLER POST, I’M GONNA UPVOOOOOTE

  • The reason this post is here today is because in desperation the main stream media wants you to associate - by any means necessary - Trump with Hitler - and you with William Patrick hitler

That way you feel like a hero by opposing Trump

Even though Trump is clearly not Hitler

    Your response….

“But. But.. I was told over and over and over on tv he is Hitler!”

Goebels: “if you tell a big lie over and over- people will believe it”

Someone doesn't have to be literally Hitler to be a shit politician and dangerous public influence.

I’m pretty sure the only public figure to literally call him Hitler was his running mate. Everyone else just calls him a tyrannical authoritarian facist demagogue wannabe dictator.

The fact that we have all these words, it’s almost like whatever is happening now has happened to humans a bunch of times before.

You don’t seem to have a terrific command of world history.

Hitler gave his people an enemy they could all hate together in order to feel better about themselves. Hitler described them as vermin. He appealed to people’s racial hatred to block out any critical thought and threatened judges, legislators & the press with violence if they displeased him. He made people fear that they would be isolated & vulnerable if they opposed him.

    Are any bells ringing, here?
