the apple implementation is so terrible, you didn't try to use it , it's poorly designed for light wallpapers , and bad on eyes , especially on macOS where you stare at the desktop with the liquid thingy hurting your eyes, it's also a bad design, they basically used the raw gaussian blur + reflection and some other shit , it doesn't even look liquid lol, thought it got improved a bit after the updates, but it's still one of of the worse apple implementations , I still use it sometimes tho, it looks surprisingly good when using the right wallpaper
Me personally I don't get the hate on liquid glass, sure it is pretty unusable and puts a lot of strain on your eyes at times but it looks so good, at least it looks modern and the animations are really premium. That said, I still prefer frosted glass. Btw, when will that app be available, sounds like a really cool concept

Yes, it doesn't feel adaptive enough for a range of wallpapers, but if they can make it like that, it'd look great.
