My elementary school children are each asking for a "Silksong lore book" and "Hollow Knight lore book" for Christmas. I've done a cursory web search and I can't figure out if an official one exists. I'm familiar enough with the nature of "fan made content" to be leery of anything available thru Etsy, etc.
Both of my kids are really advanced readers and obsessive fans of the game, so I'm not looking for children's books per se. I just don't want to get them something with Rule 34 content, you know?
Does anyone have any recommendations? Thanks
There is the Wanderer’s Journal. Not directly made by Team Cherry (Hollow Knight’s developers), but they did help make it.
This is the only one I know of, but as far as I am aware the only way to get a physical copy is with the Collector's Edition bundle.

Lol, ikr? I personally would not have let them fall in love with these games, but unfortunately I am too divorced from their father to have been able to prevent it.
The games are harmless. The metaphors and themes some of these users are suggesting are way too in depth & obscure for an elementary school child to pick up on. I don't think you need to worry. There are far far worse games a child could choose to obsess over.

Eh those are themes that if you’re young enough to be affected by them you’re not even old enough to notice them. Just make sure to keep your kids off Roblox, there are a lot of predators on there.
