While I agree that the parasite story is likely an allegory to SA and having an abortion, it is still subjective and up to viewer interpretation. There's no reason to call someone a buffoon just because they disagree with your point of view.

Imma be so honest, I don’t think the game awards do enough with the incredible potential for this medium. If they had some artists on payroll each year they could have incredible red carpet pictures, interviews photos, paparazzi shots, EVERYTHING that traditional media has but accentuated because these characters are animated. I want so much more of these
But it is celebrated. This entire event is a celebration of video games and I disagree with no competition. Friendly competition like that of the game awards invites old and new developers to continue to improve and strive to make better games it helps give them confidence and inspiration to create new art! It even inspires the younger generation to get into game development to maybe one day be a part of something that makes it to that event and maybe even make it there themselves.
pretty sure that good art itself, and the act of making said good art is the inspiration, not some silly corporate backed award show, that's mostly used as an advertisement.

well there are a lot of life size objects in Silksong such as spools and scissors in the game, so you could make the argument that they are technically micro size, unless some thing else could throw that logic out the window

If they were so small then the moss would be like trees and stuff like that. The water and everything would behave differently. I think that the size they chose for her in the drawing however it’s fine, I like that comparing to the others it emphasizes that she is a bug.
