    Yeah itā€™s kinda ambiguous. Maybe The Pale King explained his plan to the dreamers and had Hornet first, then created the vessels. Maybe it was the other way around. I could see it either way tbh, though I lean towards the vessels having been created first.Ā 

    oh actually, editing this because I just remembered itā€™s sort of a point that Hornet spent very little time with her mother due to Herrah becoming a dreamer. that probably means the Vessel was already pretty much ready to go when she was born, so sheā€™s almost definetly younger.Ā

    It's called taking a reference every artist do .I didn't trace. Don't call it "traced" it's disrespectful, when Anyone could tell its not traced. So please avoid bluntly throwing accusations of tracing to someone before even looking or comparing. {{Edit}} there is already my comment (I wrote few hour after this) where I already have written all the details where I explained everything and credit the reference I took from different sources. I mentioned multiple time before that it's reference.

    NOTE: whenever I share art I expect people to already know it's reference not I created something of my own completely since It's quite obvious, I never even said it's my original idea I ALWAYS SAID IT'S REFRENCE!!!. And tbh I didn't expect it to boom lol so "I usually don't post my references source since anyone barely see." But since it go boom lol there a formal reference credit source lol.     This. Maybe it's not completely traced, and OP admitted that it's two designs combined, but it's heavily referenced to say the least and even if "every artist do that", they should always credit the original author. You've got skill and you did it well OP, but it's not your idea, just a copy.

If you reference something that heavily, you should mention it when publishing, that's the bare minimum of being respectful to original artists.

    It might be okay to not give credit if it was a really rough sketch, made just for practice, or a photo of a sketchbook with many of them... But if you publish such a detailed drawing, it's not a quick sketch anymore, that crediting the original author would be insignificant. And yes, it IS important. If you're an artist yourself, be respectful to other artists. There's nothing wrong in using references, especially when practicing, but credit is needed - otherwise it's called art theft.
