In Arabic there are sun and moon letters, where the L in “AL” is silent if the following letter has a shadda on it (that little w). So you don’t say ALRahman, you say ARRahman. Best way I can type it out without Arabic keyboard on this phone haha
Edit: Allah is a collapsed form of Al-ilah, “the God”. The second aleph is missing and the second lam has shadda
Famed Islamic historian/biographer who went on a major global tour as part of the Islamic scholarly tradition. His account of the places he traveled to were very thorough and gave a lot of insight into people's lives and traditions in those times. Has a lot of personal bias, since he was keeping it as a journal not a scholarly text, but still very valuable stuff. Turns out he was gone just a little too long :/
That's Doctor Zhivago level of tragic.
😭إِنشَلّة they met again in paradise
Do you mean to say Inshallah(
Yes, I'm currently trying to learn arabic, so I just tried to spell it by sound 😅
Honestly it’s not bad.
Good for you for trying.
It’s spelt like this “ إن شاء الله”
The way you write sounds like InshalllA cause of the symbols you put on “ش" and “ل"
Thank you :)
So اللّٰه is a historic spelling? I'm always a bit confused by the second ل
Yes that’s correct.
It’s the way you have to say the “ل" or La.
You’ll get used to it, fam.

Ah I see, thanks :)

Then perhaps a side side trip?
Can someone expand on this one please?
