They look superficially similar (to one variant) but the dokkaebi is actually more like a fae being beings that have magical properties, beings that can grant wishes, even have magic wands sometimes in their clubs. Also they produce blue fire. Some are tricksters, others are helpful, others cruel, etc
In some depictions they are born from household items as well very unique creatures
They're translated from goblin because old european goblins were a lot more magical than their modern depictions.
While Oni (admittedly I don't know much about so I could be wrong) are often just depicted as big brutes

Sorta? Specifically for creatures with those properties are 도깨비. Korean actually has their own word for Yokai since it came from Chinese, 요괴 which encompasses all supernatural beings.
In other words it's kinda like saying 요괴 is like saying the word "animal" while 도깨비 is a species and like variants with a club or a human looking variant is a subspecies and 귀신 (ghost) is another species and the virgin ghost 처녀귀신 is a subspecies

They're also generally depicted as good natured, if a bit pushy and rowdy. Occasionally starring in a 'punish the guilty' type role in stories, whether intentionally or not.
They also get tricked or mislead by people almost as often as they trick them, and always repay favors.
