In the early 20th century, as newspapers delved into tales of historical intrigue to captivate readers, the Bismarck Daily Tribune published this fascinating account of the Count of St. Germain—a figure shrouded in myth and deception. Emerging in the opulent court of Louis XV, he captivated Europe’s elite with claims of immortality, alchemical wonders, and timeless wisdom. This 1912 article, blending skepticism with wonder, paints him as one of history’s greatest charlatans, whose origins and fate remain unsolved puzzles.

This post just reminded me of a band I forgot about that I used to dig.
Mr mythos did some episodes on him
But he was probably a collection of alchemists much like Shakespeare was a collection of writers.
The why files had a great show on this. I believe it
Is that the one with the stupid, annoying talking fish?
Lol. He ruined the show for me in the very beginning but I kept it pushin because the content was so fascinating. Now? Hecklefish is one of the bros. Wouldn't be the same without him.
Exactly the same for me. Hecklefish was nerve wracking to me . I couldn't understand why he was even part of the show. And then one day, he said something that made me laugh and a switch flipped. I love Hecklefish.
How DARE you!?
If you hate that fish too try Astonishing Legends, those guys are great.
Its obviously a traveler. There is tech in the future where people look into characters in the past. Most likely an operative with stolen helmet having fun. Or he could be a node of some other elevated character and he is basically born with natural abilities. Which is common. It happens. Some people have elevated access and powers. Hopefully not using them like church pastors and drug cartels do.
You had in me in the first half
His discourses (or discourses attributed to him) are all available on YouTube. Very interesting character.
social engineer who screwed with the elite of his time with a made up occult backstory theyd believe and snuck into private parties screwing with people because they didnt have tech security in his time. what a legend.
