I'm seeing flight delays for some, I'm in ny and am supposed to be taking the megabus at 9:30 am tomorrow. Are people leaving a day early to avoid it now? I'm worried about train delays (have to train to the bus) and the bus delaying or canceling the trip. I'm also worried they'll be wrong again and it wont be half as bad as they say and risk spending more getting there a night early lol

i did this as well, just changed plans yesterday due to the weather. With points it’s an additional 90$ to guarantee i can go and get there safely i wasnt gunna risk losing the whole trip

Idk, kinda just hoping it works out because I really dont have any other options, I would go this evening but Amtrak wants hundreds for a ticket plus id have to pay for a hotel. Yea pretty much the same, im taking the lirr to the megabus. Im worried about the trains 🫠 maybe look into the megabus? It seems to be much more reasonably priced (i think it was 50 roundtrip), and walking distance from penn station i believe. Good luck with whatever you decide.

The weather won’t be that bad. It’s just gonna be a bunch of rain and slush. I live in Philadelphia and I’ve been tracking it, Friday is supposed to be the worst. Saturday and Sunday will be good. But it is better to be safe than sorry.
I think nyc is getting a lot more, im more concerned about getting from here to there. I'm leaning towards leaving today, I'm nervous about relying on public transport. If my bus was a bit later I think that would ease my nerves.
If you feel like that, you should definitely just leave today so you don’t take any chances. Because NYC could be a nightmare with storms.

Is leave today if you think it may be bad for you getting out or you need the extra time. Also make sure to check any road changes. I know the PA turnpike is putting some restrictions on commercial travel.
Personally I’m driving back and forth each night (I only live an hour away) so I’m not super worried. The worst will be tonight. Saturday night looks pretty clear and Sunday night is meh but not too bad. It’s mainly just slush and freezing rain. Just drive safe if you decide to.
