New Quackery..

  • As a water engineer, Chlorine Dioxide is great. To kill stuff, in water. But not very good for the human body at all. Ugh.

Well, chlorine dioxide will treat Ron Johnson's autism and cancer, and I recommend that he takes some right away.

It will also erase any heart disease, kidney disease, gallbladder problems, & his trick knee issue. The neat thing about it is if you drink enough all your problems stop very, very, quickly.*

*because you'll be dead. Why a GOP Senator can't understand this is a mystery.

Don’t know why they are wanting to buy food when one gallon of gasoline, when consumed, contains enough calories to last you the rest of your life!

A gram of uranium is 20 billion calories. A kilogram of uranium sells right now for about $175, so you could get a gram for less than two dollars and have enough food to last you the rest of your life.

It was someone from his very party who thought, since bleach kills viruses on surfaces, it should work pretty well on viruses inside a person's body.

It takes a lot to kill you, but you will give yourself the horrific shits and end up with an enormous emergency room bill. Who am I to tell them how to have a good time?

I'll be over here in the control group.

Ron Johnson was long considered the dumbest man in the Senate until Tommy Tuberville conned Alabama into voting him in.

Yeah I was gonna suggest we ask someone like Herman Cain, he's still kicking about right?

But I think that this case is different. It's pretty obvious that Ron Johnson isn't taking his own advice, as evidenced by the fact he can still give advice.

    Chug chug chug chug

Double the dose, Ron, it’ll work even faster.

Fluoride bad. Chlorine Dioxide good. I can't believe this is where we are.

It's time to take the warning labels off and let nature sort itself properly.

I mean seriously. So long as people aren’t forcing this on their kids, I say go for it. These goombahs aren’t going to learn anything except by the hard way. They can’t be told, so let’s just stand back and let the problem solve itself.

Well, they are taking the warning off supplements, and adding a black box warning to the Covid booster, so that's where we're headed.

The bird flu has a 48% mortality rate. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll have a "jab", but I suspect H5N5 will favor those reject "face diapers" and want to exercise their freedom to worship in crowded, indoor areas filled with like-minded people.

Maybe Chlorine Dioxide is their flavor-aid

Kill off Trump supporters. I actually don't have a problem with them "doing their own scientific studies" and committing suicide. Hopefully make themselves infertile at a minimum.

  • That's what republicans believe in. That's why they hate western health care.

There’s no West or East there’s just supported by evidence and bullshit.

  • He should demonstrate how well it works in the meeting, by having some himself.

If he's not willing to chug a glass of it on the Senate floor, he can STFU.

    FRJ.

Agreed! The coward should take his own medicine!

  • They go nuts over fluoride causing ill health effects but CLO2 which is a powerful oxidizing agent that denatures protein and nucleic acids even at low doses is a wonder drug that us traditionally trained MDs find useful for use on metals, glass and inert plastics to kill "germs" but destructive and not helpful on human tissue.

Their only goal is to try possible cure after possible cure until they can finally beat Established Medicine, make the score a billion to one instead of a billion to zero, and declare victory forever. This only appeals to them because it doesn't appeal to MDs.

To quote the great Tim Minchin from his epic 9 minute beat poem titled "Storm":

"Do you know what they call 'alternative medicine' that's been proved to work? Medicine."

Difference is modern medicine just does it using a proven scientific method using controls, double blind studies, peer reviewed research, and rigorous health and safety tests.

I reference this quote quite frequently

My antivax mother loves Tim Minchin. This statement tells us everything we need to know about her listening and comprehension skills.

Sounds like my old boss, a hardcore fundamentalist Christian, like to the point he wouldn't get divorced from his miserable marriage because "The Bible says it's wrong," yet Judith by A Perfect Circle is one of his favorite songs.

They just want to have it so the oligarchs can take our money instead of us having real medicine

MAGATs have Oppositional-Defiant disorder. Tell them they need to do something for their own and the public good-vaccines, fluoride, masks- and they throw a tantrum. Tell them they can't do something-ivermectin, klan hoods, toxic treatments- and they scream their freedumbs are infringed.

    MAGATs have Oppositional-Defiant Disorder.

    As do all toddlers.

They sure do put the dumb in freedom

Next they’ll be talking about how ethylene oxide is a wonder drug.

    take deep breaths…

  • To be fair, Ron Johnson is a fucking moron and a Republican (synonymous) so 100% on brand.

  • Now its a battle between the ivermectin people, the chlorine dioxide (*bleach) people, and the ultraviolet up the ass people to be recognized as the ultimate cure all.

    • chlorine dioxide is a sort of bleachier bleach

The same people who will only clean their house with vinegar because bleach is too harsh will now be found drinking that same bleach as a tonic. Amazing times we live in.

  • Ron Johnson doing his part to exploit idiots and keep the population as divided as possible.

  • So someone wrote a book about the power of bleach when used to treat illnesses within the human body? Am I understanding this right? If so, aren't they doubling, tripling, and quadrupling down on this at this point?

How about someone writing a book on bleach eliminating germs outside of the human body as a method or prevent potential illnesses instead? That one may be slightly more useful (and probably already exists in many forms). head shake of disgrace

  • If they could start by using it on themselves and immediate family first

Unfortunately, if they have kids with autism or other developmental problems, they already are. These kids routinely shit out large chunks of intestinal lining, which these people think are worms or mysterious plaques, and sometimes the kids die.

  • Seriously, how long do we have before we witness an entire political party accidentally commit a Jonestown?

When did you get a peek at my vision board?

  • Ivermectin didn’t fail MAGAs, MAGAs failed Ivermectin

By not taking enough or praying enough

Now it’s Chlorine Dioxin’s turn in the barrel

    Under his eye

  • Great, can’t wait for a Cholera epidemic.

  • I want Ron on the House floor to take Chlorine Dioxide to show us the benefit.

  • I know a person who is a lawyer in Oshkosh Wisconsin. Ron Johnson's company is in Oshkosh. He has opposed Ron Johnson in legal matters. He told me that Ron Johnson was the stupidest person he ever had to deal with.

You can't tell a rich person - anything- . They know better, because they're rich. RJ was told dozens of times that he was getting fed Russian propaganda bullshit about Ukraine, he didn't care at all, & kept feeding that stuff into senate meetings. It's a six year term, and Wisconsin is overrun by orcs. That's how the world works.

  • Can I get Jon Ronson’s opinion instead please.

  • The Dummies are in charge. Right, RFK jr?

  • Make sure to use a really high concentration. You really want to tackle that cancer.

  • These demented old white guys gotta go ASAP.

  • This thing owes the American people $3b or something like that.

  • In Wisconsin we say FRJ! Can we make it nation wide?

  • Maybe he’d like to demonstrate it.

  • I’m sure bleach kills a lot of things….including the host.

  • These people are so dumb.

  • I hate this timeline so much

  • Wish he’d drink it by the gallon

  • I want to see anyone who touts stuff like this take a max dose live. Put up or shut up. You have to prove it to everyone that it’s safe. It would be like how no one is willing to drink the tea Putin provides

  • Senator Johnson is a nutjob, nothing new there. The actual reporting in the article about the book is interesting though. So it says the book is by this Pierre guy and his coauthor is Jenna McCarthy. I'm not going to investigate but just from the article I assume Jenna does not exist and Pierre came up with that name to trade on Jenny McCarthy' s antivax credentials. Pretty good grift if the books sells well.

  • Further proof (as if any were needed) that politicians are not competent to practice medicine.

  • I thought this fell out of favor around the pandemic (I’ve been following the CD/MMS idiots since 2012 or so), but I guess it’s still out there. Sigh.

Stupid never dies, it just hides until you let your guard down. Kinda like herpes.

  • Natural selection.

  • The honorable Senator now has to use Chlorine Dioxide as his main healthcare provider.

  • Oh yes, please kill yourselves in drove.

    Morons.

  • Shut the fuck up, Ron.

  • It is indeed very effective. For natural selection.

  • What do senators know about science again?

  • Don’t have to worry about being sick or disabled if you’re already dead from bleach poisoning

  • Let’s do it one kite time until it sinks in:

Conservatives as a whole are baseline stupid AF

  • Remember when the dumbest chapter in recent American history was the satanic panic of the 80s? Those were good times.

Right now, I play D&D to relax.

  • Again with the bleach!

Why does the Trump administration want people to drink bleach?

  • I'm not feeling well, anyone know where I can get some leeches?

Leeches actually work. They produce a chemical that stimulates bloodflow and capillary action, so they sometimes still use them in surgeries. So these folks will probably ban them as witchcraft.

Yes, in specific situations like amputated finger replacement but not as a home cure for anything as far as I've ever heard.

  • Prove it to us Ron.

  • Maybe he could chug some and show us.

  • Killing things is MAGA’s go to.

  • Is he planning to lead by example?

  • Statistically, it does remove the amount of sick people in a population.

  • Him first, then we'll see if he "holds the line"

  • I don't know Senator Johnson's college major, likely pre-law, but clearly it wasn't a science field.

Very strange how being voted in as a congressman, senator or president makes that person believe that they're now an expert in a field they know nothing about.

If I add in some healthy scepticism, it's more likely that a Special Interest Group approaches these politicians with a "gift" to push their agenda.

--"Mr. Senator, help us sell more Chlorine Dioxide and we'll cut you in for 23.6% of our profits. Here's a list of talking points we'd like you to announce."

  • I’ve only been aware of this since January of 2025.

Mainly because I was scared of Geert Vanden Bossche’s super COVID hypothesis coming true close to that time, and I still am btw. One of his followers suggested ClO2 instead of ivermectin.

The thing with me is that I try to be less dismissive than most skeptics, and am a bit too willing to give the benefit of the doubt, but anything happening would weigh heavily on my conscience, even if it doesn’t come true. My ex-Christian ass might have issues with hypervigilance and OCD which play a part in me listening to this and my actions.

  • Its not just that they are stupid, they are LAZY.

These people have access to the best minds on the planet. The best research institutions and technology on call 24hours a day. And yet they refuse to take the time to get real information.

    Whiskey disinfects too -

  • I just wanna say: frj

Thank you for your attention to this matter

    I cross-posted it over there, at r/FRJ.

  • And what treats the mental disease known as conservatism

The honest answer would get me banned.

  • Maybe he meant ivermectin. Those big words over one syllable all look the same to those people.

  • Let the adults do it themselves!

  • Fluorine bad, Chlorine good. Those MAGATs are so smart.

  • Someone give him tablets and have him take it.

  • I'd be in favor of giving all these morons a lifetime supply of bleach and letting them go hog wild with it, if they weren't feeding it to their innocent children. Horrible.
