• Welp I've said it before and I'll say it again, you only vaccinate the kids you want to keep. Antivaxxers obviously don't want to keep their kids.

That’s a lot of words for Darwinism.

If they could understand those words, I am sure they would be angry!

My yoga teacher shared a very persuasive meme with me, so I guess some kids had to die.

People in WV going to yoga? GTFO. More like some dude that graduated high school with a C average that went straight into the mines for work, drives a big ass oversized truck and believes with everything in him that he knows more than the entire medical community because he watches Facebook videos and then shows them to his friends. Now that, is how that story goes in WV

    And life expectancy of 52.

52? In WV? Someone’s great-great-grandfather is going for the methuselah record.

Sounds like West Virginia may leap to the lead in a new category. Unfortunately, for children who have no voice in their future.

Time to put more investment into tiny coffins!

Antivax jokes never get old, just like their kids.

  • This whole religious exemption shit needs to stop, for almost everything. They claim religious exemptions for things that literally go against teachings in their religion.

Idgaf about your religion when it comes to protecting society. If you live in society, you should be expected to have to live up to some standards when it comes to public health. If you don't want to adhere to those standards, go live outside of society and food riddance.

What I think is absurd is Catholics who claim religious exemption, when the Popes say vaccination, if possible, is our religious duty.

  • The dad who lost his child to measles in Texas said the virus was worse for his other kids. This is the fucked up reality we live in.

That the guy who said his kids were better off dead than vaxxed?

Didn't he say something like, "Oh, well, shit happens. She's with Jesus now, so it's okay."

That was essentially his and his wife's argument, yes.

    They can always breed more.

He was probably happy he had one fewer mouth to feed. More beer for him.

  • My great grandfather lost five of his 11 siblings in a two week period in 1865. That's the world antivaxxers want to return to.

Just go to any cemetery that has been around since the 19th century and look at all the children's graves. Basically, only one out of every five children survived past 12 years old. The whole anti-vaxx movement is probably being supported by big cemetery corporations.

Half of all the people who’ve ever been born died before they turned 20.

Ever had scarlet fever? It had a good chance of killing you 100 years ago.

His parents should have stopped letting him take his siblings to "go fishing." Man was a serial killer!

  • It's crazy to get an exemption to proven scientific research by appealing to a religion with 0 legit evidence.

  • What is truly evil about these antivaxxers is they are vaccinated but their kids aren’t. I used to think that the parents that lose their kids after making these kinds of decisions have already taken the largest consequence when their child dies or has serious health outcomes. Now I realize they are willing to risk their children for their “identity” cult.

If you still think Covid was a cult with all the long COVID people, the morgue trucks, and a million deaths - you are an idiot. I talked to a lung doctor who worked icu. He said whole families were on the floor. People were begging for the vaccine right before they intubated them or denying they had Covid. He said they had to have security due to the conspiracy theorist and crazy family members wanting to see because it was all a hoax. Fighting them. You could tell when he talked about it that it was traumatic.

Remember these medical professionals were working when there was no vaccine with the deadly variant. Many died or have long covid.

I knew a 26 year old golden gloves boxer that was in a coma with that variant and luckily he recovered but it took him a long time in rehab center once he woke up. So it wasn’t just people that had underlining conditions with that variant. A new one could come any day that is just as bad. Just like the flu, some years it is worse than others. People forget people die of the flu or like two people I know became diabetics from it because it attacked their pancreas.

Viruses are terrible. Guy I knew had polio as a kid and died at 68 from a virus that only happens with people that have had polio. He had polio as a very young child and walked with those metal crutches.

I guess that since so many of these states have outlawed abortions, this is the only recourse left for those who didn't want children in the first place.

  • Can we quarantine the state of West Virginia? If we don't, infected West Virginians will spread communicable diseases among the rest of us.

We need to treat anti-vaxxers like we treated Typhoid Mary.

Seriously, endanger yourself all you want but your right to freedom is does not outweigh my right to be safe in public. So go ahead and not vaccinate but also stay the fuck out of public spaces.

And hey they already have those isolation camps ready to go. Many in Florida I presume could be put to good use

The good news is, they generally stay in West Virginia.

I did some work for PBS in WV. It's a very pretty state, the people are generally nice, but the republicans are just out to ruin everything. I hope the Board of Education can successfully appeal

  • And this is why I hate religion, among other things.

And exploitative predators who use religion to assert power and control others.

Which is probably what you meant. I just like to words

  • West Virginia ranks 49th in healthcare.

  • Lots of children will become martyrs for the cause. 🙄

  • West Virginia is the closest thing the United States has to hell, and I don't say that casually.

    I think Mississippi is closer.

West Virginia is way worse because they choose confederate poverty as a lifestyle choice.

  • Religion and Republicans just continue to ruin everything.

  • Where in the Bible does it say to not get vaccines for your children? Just asking.

You're talking about a book that doesn't even tell people not to shit in their drinking water. But NO CHEESEBURGERS!

  • You know, we're living in a society! We're supposed to act in a civilized way!

The right wants to turn the country into Lord of the Flies.

Smuckers and I share the same cough.

  • Yeah but like....bitty bow west virginia....water is wet...let the stupids kill themselves off. Collateral damage fucking sucks but they are by and far taking themselves out far more.

The kids are the ones who are going to suffer, though.

  • The fewer vaccinated West Virginians, the fewer West Virginians, the stronger the America.

This judge finally did something to improve America.

  • West Virginians will be the first to tell you they aren't worth it

  • This is one way to clean up the gene pool. More red states need to do this.
