I really want to believe that there is no second heart and that this is just Japanglish at it's best. I HAVE TO KNOW WHAT THE REST COULD POSSIBLY BE. Thanks.

If you count the apostrophe, the longest word here is 5 characters.
Assuming the other half of this pendant is the same shape, I can't see "Promise", a 7 letter word, fitting in physically unless it's written in smaller font.
The necklace is from the Showa Era (70s), if you search for "昭和レトロ ペアハート ネックレス" (Showa Retro Pair Heart Necklace) you can find more of these necklaces.
I couldn't find the other part though..
My guess about the full sentence "LET'S GO, WE'LL CARE EACH OTHER FOREVER"
Reverse image searched it, but nothing came up. I also searched he words on it with "heart pendant." This is an item I found being sold on the flee market website Mercuri in Japan.
i dont think theres a second part. because usually if there were the heart would be cut in the middle but because its almost a complete heart the remaining words wont even fit in the 2nd half. Even if it were Japanese characters, theres not enough space imo.
Its just designed that way. But it’s common to sell things with english words on it that are just broken english and are mainly for aesthetics especially in Asian countries.
Dunno why you're getting downvoted, my siblings brought home a lot of stuff exactly like that from East Asia in the aughts. "Let's lemon! Happy life, breezy emotion."
Chinese/Japanese tattoos were super popular in the US during the aughts and lots of them were nonsensical. So it's a cross-border phenomenon.
Mangled French on consumer goods to look cool is pretty common worldwide as well. Americans in particular enjoy plâcing ràndome acçénts and lettréaux.
Yeah, searching for this one I immediately came across a triple heart for best / fri / ends. Edit: tweaked search term and got a triple that works way better lol, we’re / best / friends

Promise love other ever

Swear maybe?
Let's ____ we'll love each other for ever
That's my guess at what the whole thing would say
swear? Promise?
Promise
Maybe “marry”? Not sure what else it may be

Say!

Let's marry We'll love Each other For ever
Probably the other part does exist!

My guess about the full sentence "LET'S GO, WE'LL CARE EACH OTHER FOREVER"
(The other part being GO/CARE/OTHER/EVER)
It's likely "LET'S GO! WE'LL LOVE EACH OTHER FOREVER"
Yeah, probably 😅

Promise? Marry? Kiss?
Swear
Hope?
hope? maybe
“Let’s promise [or maybe swear] we’ll love each other forever”, I would’ve thought
I think swear fits perfectly, promise is good but maybe too long
I think swear flows better with forever as well, kind of rhymes

I agree. The jagged edge doesn't even look like it's made to snap together with a second piece, compared to the necklace I have.
Maybe the second part is just a tiny "y" So it reads Let'sy we'lly eachy fory.
Which is Italian for I Love You.

The heart is not split in half. There is not 2nd part. This is it.
In the description for the listing the person says it's a friendship pendant they shared with a friend. So there has to be a second part.

They don't sound certain. Why would one friend get smaller heart part? There's not enough room for the amount of words needed on second heart.
Maybe the other part is also a heart so it kinda makes 2 hearts slightly overlapping. Kind of a mirror image of this one.
Pretty sure you're correct
Yeah, searching for this one I immediately came across a triple heart for best / fri / ends. Edit: tweaked search term and got a triple that works way better lol, we’re / best / friends
Any possibility that it's a three part friendship locket? Like that the full thing is two entwined hearts So it would be like
Let's promise that
We'll always love
Each of us
For ever
(With the middle one not having a fourth word bc it's shorter)
I'm not super sure about the exact phrasing but the shape does kind of imply that it's not a 2 part friendship locket
LETS FIGHT! WE'LL PUNCH EACH OTHER FOR BLOOD!
