• I'd love to finally get an armour-set that interacts with vehicles in some way. A slow self-repair on any vehicle you're inside of would be the dream, but I'd settle for just being able to get in and out of vehicles faster, or something like that.

Here’s an idea for an armor perk

Expert Mechanic: increase vehicle enter and exit speeds and vehicle maneuverability by 15%. While in the driver seat, slowly make repairs to the vehicle from within while out of combat. Decreased stamina drain when out of a vehicle by 10%.

Plays heavily into vehicle gameplay, but still offers something unique for survivability should the player lose their vehicle.

Oh this one right here 😫👏🔥

And in the gunner seat you get a seatbelt.

The amount of times ive said "Please keep your arms, feet, and body inside the vehicle at all times" after clipping the tiniest rock and losing my gunner 🤣😅

I’d limit the healing to “repair vehicles up to 50%” instead of up to full

How about repair vehicle health but not completely removed arms/wheels/etc. and having missing parts reduces the health the vehicle can be repaired to by percentage.

Best i can do is 50% melee damage and 25% shock resistance.

Some explosion resistance instead of decreased stamina drain could also work nicely; let you better survive bailing out of vehicles just before they explode.

That would be SO much value for Walker users, I love it 💯

It should also let us refill the ammunition too

Make it a "heavy resupply" for mechs stratagem. Maybe something sentries can also feed from to. Really play into the mech/sentry playstyle

Maybe a sort of deployable reloading station? Drop in a small station you can park your mech or FRV at and it’ll refill the ammo reserves. There could also be a smaller, portable pack you can call in for the sentries to reload their reserves and keep them in the fight.

And as an added patch with this warbond, vehicle weapons can be reloaded with supply backpack

Add on “lets the wearer flip overturned vehicles” and we’re golden.

Can’t count how many time I’ve lost a car because I hit some random geometry I couldn’t see

Make you be able to reload it as well

15% intro/exit speed would likely result in like a 0.1 second decease lmao

Ok actually doing the math, the entrance of a mech -> able to move period is about 2 seconds. 15% of that is 0.3 seconds, which would happen once when you enter, and possibly once when you leave (assuming you dont have the mech die while in the suit, which is sometimes possible to survive now)

The stamina drain reduction is also pretty small, but would be more impactful still. Pushing useless but not quite.

Why would you make it op like that. I would take it for the stamina buff and IDC about vehicles at all

Maybe instead of an Armour set a rover backpack, which automatically repairs any turrets, vehicles and mechs nearby?

    Agree that would be better

That would be awesome too. And maybe instead, the armor has a bonus where eating a supply pack also restocks the exosuit's ammo.

Honestly, it would suck if passives will be still tied to armor appearance, for you that's better mech use, for someone that 50% of nothing because they dared to like the way armor looks

phase embark; warp technology to allow you to enter and exit mechs instantly

Hah, would be a fun approach.

Also auto-teleports you out, unharmed, when the vehicle is destroyed.

Tbh not a fan of self repairs tbh unless a repair tool or something is added. Mechs have the destructive capability and staying power of an orbital laser. The difference is OL blows its whole load in one place while mech aims for the glasses, mouth, hair.  So its kind of limited by the same things which limit lasers. Like only having a few. I think if we had repairs or rearms it might fuck up how the things are balanced. I personally prefer my mech's ammo being kind of a metric for how well im using it. If i used all the ammo and im sparking ive extracted all value from it. But I should stretch it because it is an Orbital Laser. So the best way to use it is to balance value of ammo and time and divers saved by using ammo. And if you do it well enough you can stretch your ammo out until the cool down is over.  Idk I prefer that to a rearm and repair system tho I wouldn't be opposed tho you could fuck the balance like that.

Totally agree with you on the ammo front; the ammo limitation on the mechs is what justifies them being such powerhouses. And besides, I've always argued that we already have a means to repair and re-arm our mechs; calling in a new one.

But at the same time, I'd still appreciate a slow trickle of repair to take the edge off of getting chip-damaged to death, or to get out of the limping-stage when your mech is on its last legs; just a little extra survivability so that I get a longer opportunity to use all that overwhelming firepower.

And what happens when I run out of mechs due to how many enemies i encounter?

I... didn't say anything about the number of call-ins? I would very much like if they removed the total limit on mechs, and I could just keep calling in fresh ones. As I said, that effectively is repairing and re-arming them. Same for the laser, honestly. Feels annoying for something to have limited call-ins and a massive cooldown time.

This is an excellent idea and arrowhead are literally releasing unfun shit instead for the armor passives. Extra movespeed plus melee aoe in exosuits could be cool too if self repair is considered OP.

Stratagem. Drops a repair/ammo crate. Give it a long ce. Idc, at least it makes the mechs usable once out of ammo

A self repair rover dog would be peak

I'd prefer a set of like titanfall-esque armor that makes mechs you drive have like 20% more ammo or speed or health

Neural integration: increase the speed and handling of vehicles by 30%. Nothing too flashy but definitely useful.

wouldn't really work, because other people can use your mech

  • Idk, but i do want more exosuits

I think we need a heavy exosuit, one that is like actually durable, and has damn good firepower

Maybe if we also got like a secondary or something that can fix mechs…. Remember blowtorch from Battlefield?

And a way to reload the mechs ammo in some way

    That would be great NGL

Make a guard dog with a repair tool so it could sit on top and repair when told to.

HD1 had tf2 styled medigun that healed helldivers and exosuits.

It's unlikely we'll get the REP-80 back, particularly with Stimms being the new mechanic they're working with.

Not saying I don't want it back, but it's just unlikely.

I imagine if they do bring it back it'll only work on vehicles now or smth

I wouldn't mind that too much, tbh. Maybe they could make it so that teammates can see the healthbars of a vehicle, so they know whether or not to bother trying to heal it.

    That’d be fine imo

my idea for a medigun-style healing support is a variant of the harpoon gun that launches a massive syringe attached to a cable and a tank full of stim juice

shooting a fellow helldiver with it deals like 3 damage but provides slow heal, invulnerability for 2 seconds, +50 armor and +25 movement speed as well as stamina loss halved and +50% melee damage

you must stay within 15 meters of the target since that’s how long the cable is and going outside that range will cause the needle to be ripped out dealing another 3 damage

the tank has enough juice for about 30 seconds of heal, with one in reserve

We need the Exo-51 Lumberer with it's heavy flamethrower and an anti-tank cannon. We also need the stratagem launcher upgrade for all Exosuits STAT!

Best I can do is a hellbomb launcher with ultimatum range

Yeah it's fun to be in a mech but on D8 and above it feels like a glass cannon. Emanciptor can dish out tons of damage, but can still be one shot by bot towers from across the map or illuminate harvesters. I'd like a laser variant, maybe a laser cannon on one arm and a dual quasar cannon on the other.

I think a melee mech would be awesome. A giant hatchet on one arm with anti-tank armour pen and maybe a 1 gauge shotgun on the other with a super wide medium pen spray. Maybe bulk it up with some extra health as well since it's meant to be on the thick of the fight. Something like that would probably be amazing in bug tunnels.

A mech with a giant chainsaw sword and a giant sickle on the other, I'm the hulk now bitch

A mech with a power fist, and a heavy plasma cannon

I personally want a scout walker, less firepower and durability but its faster than sprinting and has integrated jumpjets, i wanna zoom around.

That would not gonna lie do wonders for credit farming if someone doesn’t have a warp pack

I would just like for them to bring back the stratagem ball launcher for mechs

A heavy melee exo so it's balanced with the ranged firepower of other mechs. Hits hard, can carry items (like plat bars, artillery shells, and SSDs) in one hand + move at full speed, and can crush enemies with a stomp.

Helldivers 1 did have a medi-gun that could heal both helldivers and vehicles, we would alternate repair and pilot duty with a friend to steamroll missions. Although I feel like something like that wouldn't work in helldivers 2 with how different the reinforcement and downed mechanics are between the two games.

A modular customization system would be the best outcome but i dont think arrowhead is planning on doing that

It'd be kinda stinky to have a whole ass mech locked behind a warbond

I mean, every(?) vehicle was behind DLC in Helldivers 1.

I want the flamer and cannon one from HD1

Yeah id love a bigger, slower mech with shielding, some combo of powerful weapons, seeker missiles, and like a second external passenger operating a chaingun.

Then a faster, lighter walker with arc weapons, melee and a jump pack

  • I'm hoping for a vehicle / exo-suit update in the next year. Not really a Warbond, but more so a content expansion to the base game.

I want them to make the vehicles more customisable. I'm thinking of things like swapping the gun on the FRV, putting bull bars or rammers on the front, maybe changing the tire type, putting on armour in exchange for speed, and vice-versa.

And similarly for mechs. Swapping out the arms (flamethrower, shotgun, laser, something melee, etc.) giving them a backpack feature so you could use guard dogs, for example, maybe slap a jetpack on some (if Hulks can fly, so could our exo-suits).

And then sure, a Warbond that complements it would be perfect. Some armour passives and boosters that work better with said vehicles.

id like ship upgrades that actually buff vehicles, like a 7th category of ship upgrades. I wonder if they will ever add sth like that

Personally, I would prefer it if it was something separate from the ship upgrades.

Yes, in the same or in a very similar execution, but with, at the very least, its own tab, if not its own area on the Destroyer.

  • Titanfall crossover warbond

I think r/Titanfall would riot lmao, anything but Titanfall 3!

Armor passive: on redeploy, drop down in a Titan Exosuit

    Warbond: Fall of Titans

  • That is what I've been saying.

Add the Vehicle Bay as a Ship module. Make customizable vehicles unlockable by that new ship module. Make new Mech and FRV weapons part of warbonds.

It's a simple way to pad out warbonds as you can reuse a lot of existing weapons (Laser Cannon, Flamethrower, Tesal stuff, and so on).

FRV Autocannon, FRV Laser Cannon, FRV Repeating Railgun (safe only, no reloading required)

    Exosuit weapons

APC stratagem that's a slower armored FRV, with a second gunner seat

FRV Epoch 🤤. For real I have been missing my Gauss Warthog and would love if there was something just a little bit more heavy duty for tougher enemies. That being said it is fun when you have a gunner and they crank up the fire rate to max while you do attack runs at the enemies. It actually works against the bots!

  • If we get vehicles this will be my go-to 'driver' armour paired with the Dutiful helmet from the Killzone Warbond or the Lockdown helmet from the Chemical Agents Warbond. It has such a tankie vibe.

Use the Titan helmet for peak Jump Pack trooper vibes 👍

  • I’ve been begging for this from the beginning. A walker focused warbond with pilot armor that sucks outside of a walker, but buffs the walker itself, a repair tool primary, a stratagem that lets you call down resupplies for the walker, and a new walker or a way to mix and match arms to build your own.

Oh! And I NEED a first person cockpit view while I’m in it! I want to be inside of the walker while I murder bugs.

  • That sounds great! I love mechas, and when I play Helldivers 2 with friends, I mainly pilot mechas.

  • I want a mech that punches things and is super tanky.

  • Awesome, that would be cool, also I'm waiting for Steel Veterans 2 for more Robotic Enchanted Armour

  • Exosuit with a big shield, Vehicle cooldown booster, and a repair tool sidearm.

Maybe an emplacement for repairs & reloading. Also add a proper melee to Exosuits so they can box with heavies.

Heavy Devastator but in Exosuit form would be nice. Big shield and a minigun.

  • I really want the REP-80 repair tool to be ported to HD2

  • Bro we have that exact mech already

  • The weapon in the warbond could be a primary that can at range repair and then a secondary melee that can repair close up.

  • I assume theyre saving it for a Titanfall warbond

    A man can dream

    LMAOOOOOOOOOO

  • plugsuits or i riot

  • I would love an “increased ammo capacity for vehicles” passive.

Me 2. 👍 More ammo more shooting, more shooting more fun.

  • I have an idea for a new walker vehicle: Repurposed Reinforced Scout Striders:

    • They now serve Managed Democracy, as they should

    • They're balanced enough

    • THEY'RE ACTUALLY PILOTABLE

    • Something something AT-ST 👀

  • Cannon and flame thrower mech from the first would be cool

  • Ngl pic alone made me think of a Helldivers 1 low poly warbond

  • A Battletech crossover would go so hard with Helldivers. BT is full of mechs that could inspire all sorts of Exosuit designs

Amen. Battletech is great and especially fresh today with the MW5 shadow of kerensky and the Clans.

  • Honestly would be a sick ass way to do a Titan fall cross over imo, but in general would love one regardless if they ever do more crossovers

  • I just want them to introduce the lumberer already.

  • Id like an armor that interacts with vehicles, but id like vehicles themselves to remain things you can buy outside of warbonds.

  • Yeah, I miss titan fall, too.

    Still waiting for Titanfall 3.

  • Id be happier with a stratagem launcher and some extra armor on the mechs so I could use them against bots and squids too.

  • I wpuld rather just get them outside of a warbond like we used too.

  • Probably not until we get more mechanics related to vehicles and/or exosuits

  • Titanfall collab?

  • It'd be cool if it included a laser SMG

  • Can we liberate a planet and get free exosuits for all?

  • Stand by for titanfall

  • Honestly, they should bring the old armor back from HD1. Doesn't have to be a warbond, just add them in the game. Especially liked, the Black ops armor 🔥

  • I want my quasar/heavy laser exo suit please.

Edit: And now with the introduction of the saw, id love to see a napalm thrower/heavy chainsaw exosuit.

Just setting everything on fire and then finishing the big guys with a big ass chainsaw, while engulfed in flames. Absolute cinema.

  • I would prefer if we unlocked more Exosuits through Major Orders, like the others.

  • No warbond, it should be free. How long has it been since the last free content was released? Not counting capes

  • Power armor confirmed?

  • just need the lumberer

  • Please AH get this collab for a mech warbond it would make so much money for you and be so fun for us.

  • Yes! Finally, a fan warbond idea I can get behind. I'd love to see the Lumberer come back.

And please not as a Titanfall warbond. We can have one of those too. I just don't want every themed warbond to be a branded tie-in. I don't want to play Helldivers 2: Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry series.

  • Why’s this so cute looking

  • I want the mech, with a flamer and auto cannon. Or a heavy las-cannon, or twin chain guns. Or chain swords.

  • I'd like if they added a heavy resupply (2 blue supply boxes, you carry them like artillery shells) and interacting with a vehicle while holding one completely refills its ammo and repairs it

  • Is it too much to ask for some stuff to go into base game again? But yes i like mechs

  • Titanfall Freedom?

  • Helldivers x Titanfall warbond

  • Ok so hear me out exo squad cross over. Yes I know im really old

  • All I want is more vehicles

  • an exosuit that comes with a hellpod 🙏

  • surface type high mobility mech suit when

  • SENSORS ONLINE

    WEAPONS ONLINE

    ALL SYSTEMS NOMINAL

  • if not titanfall, why titanfall shaped?

  • I thought that was a super earth ad for helldivers gear for children (live ammo in the mechsuit)

  • Make it pilot focused as you say OP but it doesn’t have any Assault rifles. All SMG’s and Pistols for the weapons because cockpits are small.

Self repairing armor granting armor repair on exosuit

  • A booster that significantly increased warsuit cooldown would be kind of neat.

You lose out on something that boosts your diver so you're weaker in between suits, but you actually get to use more than one suit a mission.

  • Counter: update the mechs with customization for the arms plus maybe a shield module WITH an accompanying pilot warbond themed after Titanfall

  • Did someone say Titanfall?

  • Yeaaas please! I love to play pilot. Give em grenade thats a shield so they can throw that down when the mech is destroyed!

  • I would love a booster allowing you to reload empty mechs

  • Man, not everything needs to be locked behind a warbond…

  • All i want is a "retro" model of the exos

  • Ooh neat. HD1 style

  • I’d just like a mech that isn’t a cardboard box with gonk droid legs.

  • fuck the warbond. we need: 1. eject seat 2. exosuit exploding upon destruction

  • It would be cool if it was a post Automaton fight thing like the Control Group was for the Illuminate.

  • I'd rather have a tank or IFV warbond.

  • The new risk of rain dlc looking crazy

  • I can’t decide is this looks more Roblox or Fortnite

  • I just want an exo suit system rework/overhaul

  • I want exosuits customisation, like let me have a laser cannon and flamethrower. Hell give me a large shield on my mech, that could be fun.

  • Please don't lock Exosuits behind warbonds.

Please. For the love of GOD. Do NOT do that Arrowhead. Please.

I will fucking forever loathe you if you do

  • A lot of the exosuit power budget is jn the fact that you can't use any of your weapons and backpacks while in the suit. The suit HAS to be powerful if it restricts you from using your other equipment. So why not design equipment that enables permanent exosuit gameplay?

Backpack: Heavy ordinance resupply. Allows you to restock the rockets, autocannons, and gattling guns of exosuits. Cannot be restocked by resupply crates (a new backpack must be called down instead).

Support weapon: Machinery kit. Allows vehicle repairs in the field.

Though they could also add vehicle customization in the future where they add the strategem ball launcher to the exosuits as an option.
