My worry is most Black Box medications require prior authorization / approval via insurance in the U.S.— this could have a freezing effect on insurance coverage. Which could potentially mean the vaccine coverage gets cut limiting the number of people actually getting vaccinated.
Drugs with black box warnings put considerable additional legal liability on doctors who prescribe them. Some nut job blames their doctor for some vaccine-induced magnetism, and suddenly the doctor will need to justify how they attempted to mitigate that risk/tried something less risky first/etc.
I'd love to see the studies backing the decision to put a black box warning on the covid vaccine. From what I've read - the vaccine appears to be overall effective and safe.

I'm trying to think of how many times I've got this particular shot. Like wasn't that first year need to get them two or three times? After that you get the booster when you get a flu shot every fall.....
I've probably had anywhere between 5 and 8 of them.
I've had at least 4 and I sort of stopped getting them about 2 years ago because I moved out into the middle of nowhere and started working from home. I figured I never really saw anyone in the first place, so my likelihood of catching anything was pretty low. Frankly, I haven't even caught a cold for the past couple years (knock on wood, because I realize I likely just jinxed myself).
But yeah....not exactly scary. Except the idea of catching covid and NOT having had it (at least once).
They're coming up with their conclusion ahead of time and manipulating the data to support that conclusion, if not ignoring the need to present any data all together

I’m curious what benefit they’re chasing to preventing vaccination. Less vaccines mean less people spend on the drug and the manufacturers get less money, people get covid more, miss work, or some die…it seems like a weak way to cull the SSI herd but maybe? The president has more historical evidence of his weakness. If it’s truly dangerous there would be no hesitation publishing reports on that to shut up any arguments. So who benefits from this? K95 mask manufacturers?
Hostile foreign leaders benefit from it. The more Americans that die & get sick, the easier it is to do whatever they want without the US getting in the way. The US tried this exact disinformation campaign about vaccines in China & it failed. So other foreign governments tried it here but it’s worked brilliantly. Keep Americans sick & dying so they can’t do anything.
I’ve never once even had the opportunity, or wanted, to read the vial when getting any vaccine. I confirm with my provider that the vial is the vaccine I’m there for, but that’s it.

I’m immunocompromised and have done the Covid vax NINE times.
Still never had Covid since I n95 mask whenever inside with anyone other than family.
Even though I have the typical reactions to any vaccine (sore arm, tired, fever, achy, ect) I don’t plan on not getting them in the future.

I’m on my 8th dose, still healthy and never had Covid…even when my husband brought it home. I’ll get yearly Covid vaccines as long as I can.

Yeah they always show me the vial they are drawing it from, but I never see the box.
