I've never considered keeping shelter names before.
I'm in agreement with making them permanent. They're such a lively bunch, and each one is so darn adorable that even Gummitch is holding back some hisses and swats. He still has the look that says "Be glad - I could have easily murdurlized this bunch."
Gummitch could never. He's the biggest scaredy cat I've ever had.
