Wow! I guess Hell did freeze over, haha! They think he’s their big brother, there to play with them!
Mind you, right after I put the phone down, he growled at Airport for trying to actually play with him.
But his ears and whiskers were forward, and after giving the upstart a little bap, he went back to ignoring him instead of making him leave or leaving himself.
The other day, I saw Suitcase come over the rim of that bed when Groucho was basking under the heat lamp, give my old man a few licks on the head, and actually get away with it. I think it was Suitcase that Groucho licked a couple times a few days ago, but I couldn't clearly see.

It's like a Hallmark movie! The grumpy old man gets new neighbors who have some 'obnoxious' boys who annoy him, but eventually teach him the meaning of Christmas joy and open his heart to his neighbors who all secretly loved his grouchy old butt and had wanted him to come out and socialize with them (after losing his wife, of course) Or something like that. Groucho is warming to those horrible, stinky, upstart kittens. (His words, not mine)

Believe it or not, I've never actually wanted to keep any of my fosters over the years. I'll think, "if I was going to keep one, it would be that one," but was never serious about it.
