Hi folks! I’m doing a lot of hand writing at my school. My goal isn’t to write pretty (I gave up that long time ago), but it needs to be fast and space efficient. I’m looking for some constructive criticism on this, since I want to improve the readability. (I’m not writing English here, but this was the only example I had on hand) Ty in advance :)

  • It’s absolutely readable - with a few exceptions, like the word I outlined. I can imagine it’s a bit hard for non-Norwegian speakers to tell readibility, but I can come with some advises. You should practice on some letters, especially «K» and «S». I can understand what you mean due to the context of the words, but if you make an effort to standardize those letters, it would allow for faster reading. For example the first line of the last paragraph looks like it says «(…) prøvde myndighetene å ilå(…)». In the first sentence it looks like at first «sygdelanosbyene». I write in cursive, but I practiced with writing every letter slowly until I felt like it stuck. You can write fast, but you have to focus on every «stroke», as if you were painting. You should write more with your hands, and less with your fingers.

Lykke til! Det her får du til.
