I am off from work from 24th to the 1st, and I was wondering if anyone knows any volunteering opportunities during the holidays. I would love to give back to the amazing community here.

Unfortunately most/all holiday volunteer positions are filled by now. Someone may know about an opening somewhere, but all the major agencies scheduled all of their December positions back in November due to high seasonal demand. My advice is that the need is high year-round and you may find a more rewarding opportunity at another time of year when most folks have forgotten about it.

Hamilton Health Sciences is always looking for volunteers to bring visitors to their sick families within the hospital and often just provide general direction and food/ snacks to visitors/families
