• With the Science Centre closed, it's important to have a local alternative for families. This partnership with HPL is a great idea, and I hope it encourages library use too!

  • It closed 3 months after my kid was born. He's 6 now. I hope it was worth the wait!

Same-- we took my kid once when he was 10 months old and had a nice afternoon. It closed shortly after. Now he's 7 and likely aged out! :)

Yep took mine as well when she was less then a year old. I'd love an explanation as to why it took so long and a deep examination by the city managers as to how this can be avoided in the future. Public examination so we can all understand this. It's outrageous as far as im concerned.

  • great news, looking forward to it!

  • So many memories there as a kid 30+ years ago, SO PUMPEd my niece will have a chance to experience it now!

  • Been there as a kid. Forgot about it entirely.

  • I can't believe it took that long to reno and it looks like a 1970s bathroom from the outside. Who made that brilliant call? 😂

Yeah I kept waiting for them to cover up that tile with siding or something, but I guess that's a feature and not a bug

I was hoping they would keep the brick and restore it beautifully considering how long it took. It's actually an eyesore!

  • Looking forward to taking my child there in his wheelchair now that it has been made accessible.

  • Is the museum for kids or about kids?

For kids, and it's not what you think of when you think "museum". Think more interactive play spaces, but more focused on creativity than physicality like an indoor playground.

  • 6.7 million dollars and 6 years later. Give me 6 million and I renovate that in 6 months. Fishy fishy fishy.
