I recently misplaced my Milwaukee 8” needle nose pliers that I’ve had for 3 years and my Klein wire strippers. I always buy either Milwaukee or Klein for most hand tools but I decided to buy the replacements for both of the ones I lost with workpro brand from amazon. They just arrived today and so far I like the quality and look/feel. Just wondering if anyone else on here has purchased tools from them and if you think they are of good quality after putting them to use

I haven’t but some of the guys I work with have some and they seem to work fine. Not sure about long term but hey, if it works for you what’s there to complain about
Might not last as long but they will be fine.
Maybe get a spare set, you’re tools will only break at the worst possible time.
They want to be Knipex SOOOO BAD!!
Heh, they will have to do better than those chinesium stamped steel wire strippers then lol. My knipex strippers are the best I've seen as far as (wire) strippers go.
The needle-nose design on the strippers is balls-out awesome. Knipex strippers, Cobras, and plier wrenches has evolved my toolbag and capabilities by miles.
“Comfort Grip”
I used them when i started. I just couldnt find them in real nice sizes. The size of their pliers and dykes just felt sorta DIY when i remeber. But hey, that cheap pair of pliers helped me build my career so no shame here
I have work pro geared wrench set, its held up great and was $38.
I have a few pliers left from a big workpro tool kit I got in school. They aren’t anything special but get the job done for sure. I’d get another set if I saw a good deal.
The Doyle ones from Harbor Freight are decent too
I have the cheapest long nose pliers and wire strippers and they both still work. I consider them the type of tools that carry low risk when buying an off brand.
They aren’t high quality hand tools but they are perfectly fine until you can or want to upgrade back to at least what you had before. I prefer to buy the higher end ones from the beginning especially if they are hand tools I use on a regular basis. I know the higher end ones hold up and last for a long time. Most of my hand tools like this I have had for at least 10 years if not much longer.
I have a strong preference for Klein hand tools after wasting a lot of money on other brands
Klein
Knipex
Channel lock (wrenches)
Wera
Don't really buy anything else personally
klein tools as of recent years has went down the shitter
Not mine but I’m sure there’s techs out there who have had a problem with just about anything and everything.
I will not stand for this heresy against the all powerful and omnipotent Klein ® Tools Company
their 11in1 and impact 11in1s are garbage. Went through 3 of them before I said fuck it and bought a milwaukee 14in1.
Never thought about em once.....ever!
Carlyle cwsccp stripper/crimper/pliers, I think icon has a copy of them now too
I don’t have one or anything but I know people who do And they like them
I love that style of stripper.
Never seen such a brand 🤷
Ive been using their step drill bit set for the past 2+ yrs as an installer and it still rips for 12$
Also have a set of Workpro. Pretty solid hand tools and used daily.
I lost my needle nose on a job and ordered the work pro ones. No complaints here and it’s been months now
All the strippers I had eventually went to shit. So I just use a razor knife. One less shit to carry
I have over the years just began to buy the non brand name but decent tools. I invariably drop them in a 20 inch insulated attic or realize I left them after I have come out and at my truck Some places I go back but some I don’t due to customer attitude I have however been working in same area long enough if I lost my 6 way I’ll find the one I Left 15 years ago to replace it So no I don’t buy the expensive tools to work with, too easily lost and to easily replaced. Just my take
I have the needle nose and they work just like needle nose should. No complaints and way cheaper than brand name.
I started with workpro, they did the job fine. Now I keep them in my basement for around the house stuff.
Don’t buy two tools when one will do.

I do like those, however with Christmas, my daughters bday in 3 days, my moms bday and gfs bday all within the next couple weeks, I didn’t feel like spending that much on myself. This is the reason I went with the cheaper option this time around
Reasons don’t get better than that. Solid dude
